Adequate sized room No non smoking room assignments This property was available on a last minute booking as the original one we reserved was fully booked. Quick check in as we had informed them earlier about our late arrival.
Had 2 twin rooms available for the family. One seriously REEKED of cigarette smoke while the other one was OK. Smell still lingered after the purifier was on overnight. Bed was very comfortable with nice soft down pillows. Loved their sleeping gown.
Great for a quick overnighter. Will probably stay somewhere else on a longer stay due to inavailability of non smoking rooms
Travel tip : Had breakfast at the Denny's across the intersection. Better value for the money

nice location close to sakae and on the main road, butnot to noisy. rooms were a little small for 2 people but if you dont mind the size it was a nice stay. the staff were nice and helpful. the rooms were clean. had a little trouble signing in at first but was all taken care of after.

Great hotel for the price. As mentioned, really surprised since this was in the lower price range. They used to be the Kaneyama hotel. I think they took it over and rennovated the place, giving it a face lift. I suspect they might be raising the prices soon because it is a good hotel in a good location with a pretty low price. But I'd still be willing to pay a bit more for this place as it was very nice. The free wifi was a great perk too. If you can forgive the small size of the rooms and the lack of English the staff speak, this is a fantastic place to stay in Nagoya.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't forget to get a day pass for the subway (Ichi-nichi kippu), it's like 740 yen. And then on the weekend, there's a day pass for 600 yen (goes by some other name, there will be posters for it though around the station).
