small room but comfortable This hotel is very well located next to the city and only 5 minuts walking from the metro station.
the standard rooms are a little small, japanese size, but very comfortable with fridge, tea set, bath and kimonos!! The room was perfectly clean and the staff was very friendly and helpfull. We had a beuatyful holiday. We may come back here next holiday.

The location is the selling points of this hotel. Such a short distance from the subway station and not too expensive. The hotel should hot water service because the boiler... too small and slow.
Please note the check-in time is 3pm!! A bit late. This hotel price not expensive for Japan hotel standard, you will get a nice, clean, comfort and good location hotel.Is just a short walk from the subway station,and just 2 stop away from Nagoya station.The room a bit small but is very clean and comfortable.The bed not too small and I really like the comforter.
Shopping Tip : Go to Sakae Station and Nagoya Station, you will enjoy there.

Just under a mile south of Nagoya Castle - convenient - can get there by walking. Staff is friendly. Hotel is in good condition, everything is clean and presentable. It's really close to the Marunouchi subway station, but you have to cross a pedestrian overpass before you get to the hotel. The hotel is really close to the Marunouchi subway station.. once you get out of the station, you will be able to see the hotel. The room was a bit small, but I understand it was about standard as far as Japanese hotel rooms go. The staff spoke English, and were very friendly. As I was leaving after checking out, another guest had just presented them with Taiyaki - a Japanese fish-shaped cake with red bean paste inside - and they called me over after she had left to share some! Really no complaints - the pedestrian overpass is only an issue if you are physically handicapped, as even with rolling luggage, there is a ramp portion where you can roll your luggage along.
Restaurant Tip : There's a Yoshinoya that's just a bit north of the hotel (in the direction of Nagoya castle) that serves good food for cheap!
Also, Nagoya castle closes at 4:30pm.
