Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.
We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it. Right in the heart of the shopping
A long way from the station and there are two Tokyu hotels in close proximity, which is a little confusing
Clean comfortable rooms and located in shopping heaven, for those interested. Plenty of local restaurants and bars in the side streets. Make sure your taxi driver is clear on which Tokyu hotel he is taking you too - there are two in close proximity. Starbucks is located in the lobby, for those craving an Anerican-style coffee or a change in breakfast menu.
Nightlife Tip : Plenty of bars and nightlife located in the streets behind the hotel.

The hotel was clean and they had non-smoking floors, a rarity in Japan where it seems every second person smokes and hotel rooms often smell like ashtrays. The location for shopping cannot be beat. It is blocks away from some of the best shopping in the world, including the largest department store in Asia.
The rooms were so small for the price that you have to go outside to change your mind. If you care about location, location, location and nothing more, then this hotel is ideal. There are no English channels on the televison and breakfast isn't included in the price.
Location, Location, Location....but not much else. If your purpose for visiting is shopping then this hotel is perfect. It is mere blocks away from the largest Coach store in the world, and the largest department store in Asia. However, the rooms are tiny and you will need to step outside to change your mind. The staff however, are polite and helpful and the hotel has a Starbucks off the lobby. The Sakae area has two subway lines that converge and it is easy to travel around that area. Travel light to get there, because there are no escalators or elevators in and out of the subway or the underground maze to the hotel. If you know the city then you may be able to find the department store escalators, but if not, be prepared to carry and lug.
Hotel Feature Tip : A trick to get to the hotel, is to take two sets of the Skyle escalator, during busisness hours. This will make it easier to get in and out of the underground labyrinth of Sakae subway station. If you pass by the import food store, "Meidi-Ya" then you are only one block away from the hotel.

Despite drawbacks I would likely stay here again as the combination of price (= money saved), location and other amenities bests the high price paid in same city at a 5 star hotel for slightly larger room and amenities I would never use (hair salon, jeweler, flower shop etc).
Restaurant Tip : Daiso Sakae Skyle 100 yen shop full of cheap snacks and cool gifts to bring home is just 3 blocks away toward the Subway station. Also McDonalds and KFC just a block away for cheap western style food.
