Nickled and Dimed for decent facilities
Great location, good service, nice facilities
7.7
We stayed at the resort for three nights through Christmas. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the festivities that the hotel arranged for the guests - Santa, Carolers, Fake snow, etc. The indoor pool (outdoor awesome pool is closed in winter) was nice and clean, but nothing spectacular. Normally I wouldn't gripe, but this is one of the times I went out of my way to book a hotel that had a pool, shelling out a little extra money, only to find that I had to shell out more. However, the location was very good, just a stones throw to the monorail, close to the airport, and close to kokusai dori.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Be sure to check out the aquarium in Nago (it is amazing,) and don't forget to spend time walking around the shotengai (covered shopping streets) that are networked across Naha - it was a very good way to take in the real culture of Okinawa city life.

Comfortable clean rooms
Nice bathroom, nice bed, and very clean
9
to a first timer in japan the room probably seems small but they are actually a decent size. japanese hotels are never going to give you empty space to practice karate.... besides that, the rooms are very clean and i thought the bathroom was nice. i payed yen for one night. im pretty sure it was the smallest type of room they had. i was solo for this stay. its located pretty much on naha port. not the most sceneic view on the side i was on. just a loading dock for shipping containers. im not picky about the view though. the staff new good enough english to check me in. it also helped that i spoke a little japanese.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The outlets are american, and theres a lot of them but the ones with the ground plug in (the third round part of most plugs) are hard to find. You have to look behind the desks and such to get to them. A very small hassle if your plugging in a laptop or most american electronics.

reasonably priced hotel with clean but small rooms
good situated to go for sightseeing, downtown Naha and public transport in walking distance
7.3
We found the rooms clean and comfortable, but very small (Japanese standard) with just enough space to open one smaller suitcase on the floor. Complimentary internet in the rooms is also an advantage. The hotel is a part of a double complex and facilities of the neighbour hotel can be used. For a family of four, having breakfast or dinner within the hotel premises is a challenge for the budget, but there is a big supermarket across the road which is open until late at night and a pizza delivery service round the corner where you can order and pick delicous pizzas until 10pm.
