Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Spacious Room, Near Aquarium, Public bath
Spacious Room, Near Aquarium, Public bath
7.7
The service was quite good, however, there is construction under the ground floor. A bit inconvinence with going to the restaurant and shops. There is a public bath area and it is very comfortable. The room is so big that there are 3 beds. The breakfast is so so. Not many choices.

Fantastic ocean view, close to Churaimi Aquarium.
Fantastic ocean view (we took the maisonette room) with skylight windows; close proximity to Churaimi Aquarium (just 5 min drive); next to the Yanabaru shopping store (where you can buy souvenirs).

The staff knew when I called that my wife and I were on our honeymoon trip so they prepared a nice greeting card with freshly cut fruits in the fridge for us. We took the maisonette suite (which had two floors overlooking the beautiful ocean) and caters more for a family of four or even six. The hotel itself may look a little worn down but the charm is in its proximity to the Churaimi Aquarium, Bise Fukugi Trees sites and next to it is the Yanabaru store, where you can buy Okinawan souvenirs. Didn't get a chance to try the spa, onsen or indoor heated swimming pool, but would recommend coming back next time.

Nice hotel near to Churaumi Aquarium
Large room and great location for rest while visiting the aquarium

We were given a very large room with three beds even though there were only 2 of us. However the view was not good as the room was at a corner. Breakfast was sufficient though not much selection. Service was friendly and good. There was a small indoor pool and hot spring bath to use which were inclusive in the room cost.

Huge rooms but old facility
Rooms are very big compare to other hotels in Japan
7.3
We arrived the hotel late and didn't get to try the hot spring and spa. They look very appealing and we would definitely want to try that if they open til later. Room is very big and comes with a kitchen. The hotel is old though and needs some updates. Reception speaks very limited English but they show great attempts to try which we appreciated. Great stay overall.

It's one of a few hotels near the aquarium. Very old, but room is big. Only a few restaurants around.

Good location very close to aquarium
Very close to aquarium with nice sea view
8.3
We've been there for our new year eve. It was fantastic and good experience. The location was perfect beside the sea even without the beach. All of the facility are quite aged but perfectly maintain. Japanese style tatami was great feeling. Room was very big and comfortable. It's just 2 mins drive to Okinawa Aquarium, our destination. We could get in and out during the day and take the rest at our room. So, it's perfect place to stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Aquarium and some other beaches are around. Suggest to drive instead of using public transportation.

Lovely hotel, and very polite
spacious room, gorgeous view
8.3
my husband is in the united states marine corps, and we stayed here for 14 days while he was on leave. there weren't many people that spoke english here, but there were 2 amazing staff members that did. they helped us so much with everything we needed, and they became our good friends! the mahaina had an amazing spa that was very relaxing. i had the best message i've ever had. while we were there, there was a typhoon, and we lost power for about 24 hours but they were very accomadating. the restaurants at the mahaina are expensive, but very good, for japanese and americans who might not like traditional japanese foods. not a very good nightlife in this area though.
Restaurant Tip:
We didn't like some of the Japanese foods we tried, but our favorite Japanese resturant was yamachan which is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Our favorite restaurants that served more "American" food were Johnny's, and Lecco Pizza bar, which is just down the street from the hotel.
