-close to JR and subway
-excellent customer service -room smelled strongly of smoke
-multiple sizable stains on the carpet
-bug on the wall
-bathroom not the cleanest
-1000 yen for coffee is a bit much While the service was top notch, I cannot understand how this hotel received four stars because the room was so horribly uncomfortable. In my opinion, my stay was definitely not worth what I paid.

Beautiful view of bayside and osaka's coast, easy to find, close to JR and subways stations, must try AirLounge on top floor! A bit out of the way, not much around the hotel, amenities are a bit old. The Baytower was easy to find from the subway stations. It is not too far by public transport to major shopping and entertainment areas although nothing significant is within walking distance. We arrived fairly late and walked to a nearby mini-restaurant/bar for supper, but they charged us $1000 Yen extra for an "entrance fee" when the bill came!! Wonderful view from the rooms..beautiful bay and you can see miles away.
Restaurant Tip : Must visit the Airlounge on top floor! Great Ambience and atmosphere.

Location could be better, but subway is very close by. Splurged to stay my last night at a nice hotel. This one was very good, and I had a great view from my room.

The hotel was on both the JR line and subway line so it was easy to get anywhere you wanted to. The views from the room were great and the staff were very friendly. Lifts could be slow due to so many floors in the hotel. No English speaking tours from this hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel if I was ever in Osaka. It was easy to get wherever I wanted to as well as travelling to the airport direct. The rooms were basic but good value. The view from the 51st floor for breakfast was better than any other view that you would pay for in Osaka. The tepanyaki restaurant was amazing.

Overall a great experience, impressive lobby, fine dining and excellent service at posh restaurant (airship lounge) at top of hotel.
