Proximity to the castle.
Breakfast good value at 850 Yen Room was super-small. Nowhere to put our suitcases really. Agoda didn't give decent instructions about how to get to the hotel. We ended up spending almost $30 in a taxi, when we could have spent $2 in the subway, had we known how to get to our hotel. DO NOT TAKE TAXIS IN JAPAN unless you have unlimited funds. The meter starts @ 580 yen !!! The hotel is very near to the castle ( as one would hope from the name ). The staff were very anxious to please, and tried very hard to help in every way. The buffet breakfast is extremely good value for money -- a mix of Western and Japanese, and very tasty. But I have to say that the room was so small that we could not open our suit-cases simultaneously in there.
Reminiscent of those lousy New York "boutique" hotels. Same claustrophobia.
Nice, but definitely over-priced.
Hotel Feature Tip : Breakfast is excellent value.

Helpful front desk. Good location. Noisy during night time due to the closing door is not sound-resist. I only stay one night, but the hotel staff in the front desk made me very satisfied. When I arrive earlier than check-in time, they are willing to keep my luggage and advise to spend some hours for beautiful sightseeing which is just nearby.
When I was not so sure about getting to the airport, they offer help, so I just spend my night out while they were checking and after back to the hotel, I received a full page letter, explained about the transportation which is best suit for me attached with detailed map and timetable, that's amazing service!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Just take you 10 min to Osaka castle, spend around 2 hours there to enjoy the most beautiful sight seeing, sit in the park to listen to bird's singing, it's wonderful!

Would not stay here again. The images of the hotel online were a bit deceiving. We expected rooms a lot nicer looking, and definitely more clean.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Can easily access the subway to get to major attractions.

We bought a day pass and with price of only 2000 Yen you can visit almost all interesting places in Osaka and underground is for free too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Water bus station is near the hotel and you can go straight to Osaka Castle.
