Solo travelers United Kingdom, December 23, 2011	Great location for travelling in Japan Part of the Osaka Station City complex 8.7 This was a great hotel to use as a base for travelling around Japan. The room had free WiFi and LAN access and a free Windows (XP) PC available. It is also ideally located for Osaka rail travel and Japan rail links thru Shin-Osaka station. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: The JR Rail Pass is good Value allowing for free rail travel (JR lines only) all over Japan.

Families with older children Singapore, December 20, 2011	A hotel with good location and good service Close to subway, JR station, shopping malls, restaurants and airport bus station 9.3 As the hotel is in the Osaka City Station, we may get lost at times and we must always look for the South Gate exit and it is next to Daimaru, a department store. The room is small for semi-double but the room is clean. There is no problem finding food near the hotel. In addition, the helpful duty manager suggested us to take the airport bus at Herbis Osaka (within walking distance) to the Kansai airport. This is a lot better than having my children to squeeze with the morning train crowd. Anyway, must visit Dotonbori as they have good food and shopping choices. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: It is convenient as we just need to walk to Hankyu line to reach Kyoto within 50 minutes. To get to the Eizan line in Kyoto, drop at Yodobashi station and change the train to Kyoto which will has easier transfer to Eizan line that goes to the Kurama-dera temple in the mountain. We also discover that there are many buses that bring tourists to the temples in Kyoto at the Kyoto station. One disappointment was, there was no night shopping at the shopping slope in Kyoto on Sunday.

Solo travelers Thailand, December 19, 2011	Okay hotel but stale cigarette smell Location 7.3 I requested a non-smoking room upon my check-in but the room I got had a stale cigarette smell. I called and asked them about it and they insisted the room was really "non-smoking" one. Having read some other reviews about it, I'm suspecting it is the case for most rooms. So, if you are a non-smoker, this is definitely not the right hotel for. The room is super small, which I guess is a Japanese standard. The hotel is adjacent to the Osaka JR station so, location wise, it's great.

Families with young children Singapore, December 12, 2011	great location but small room. great location with a reasonable price 5.7 Was really shocked when they gave me a room in the smoking Requested for change but could gave me a room on non smoking floor until the next night. Room is very small. If not for the great location, I will have a miserable time. I don't think I will stay there again. Shopping Tip: Very convenient for transportation and shopping. Right at your door step.

Groups Thailand, November 24, 2011	Great location but the room is so small Just connect to Osaka JR station 8.3 we had a short one night stay. we found the hotel is very convenient as it is just connected to the train station as well as shops and daimaru department store. don't expect a big room as the size is only 20 square metre. if you just want to go in and sleep, it is fine.
