Great location! Easy train access
Near the Dontonbori; very close to the OCAT and JR/Subway terminal

The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were small, but no smaller than what you expect in Japan. The location was very good, however, I would need a few more days there to figure out how to cross the highway (there's an underpass walkway that I didn't figure out until day 2). The hotel staff was helpful. The rooms were clean. Great view of Osaka.
Restaurant Tip:
Make reservations at the Kani Doraku crab restaurant. (06-6211-1633). It's the famous restaurant with the giant crab in the front. The food was great if you are a crab meat lover!

The hotel was beautifully decorated. The rooms were nice and clean. The hotel had wifi in all the guest rooms. Great location. Very close to JR Namba and the subway Namba station. It was easy for us to get around.

The hotel is in such a good location. It is just about JR Namba Station and Namba Subway station which is well connected to many other main station like Shin Osaka if you were to take Shinkan-shen(the bullet train) or JR Osaka station. If you are from the airport, There is also direct airport shuttle from Kansai airport to the hotel at OCAT station.
The room is small but sufficient space for two.

1.Room was really pretty but quite small for the price we paid. I assume rooms in Japan are generally small?
2.Train/subway station/airport limousine bus just next to the building. Could not have chosen any other place. Perfect location.
3. Really clean. Provided amenities for little kids(toothbrush, toothpaste,little room sandals)
4.Provided toiletries so basically did not even took ours out.

Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka is conveniently located just on top of the JR Station. Next to the hotel is a fairly large supermarket with a huge selection of food and if you want to eat in your hotel room, the supermarket sells very nice reasonabally priced bento boxes. There is complimentary internet in the room which is another plus point.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Hotel is also located within walking distance to Namba Walk which is full of eateries and shops. Namba Subway which is a connecting point to many sightseeing places is also within walking distance

Location of the hotel is very very good ！close to JR station , many shops and resturant arround . There 's also a supermarket under the hotel which open until 1200 midnight ! The hotel lobby lid on the 22/f , our room is on 30/f , I can see the whole Osaka in my room ! Very nice view

A classy hotel, one of a kind. One major problem: all of their rooms should be smoke free. Our first room wreeked of cigarette smoke, we asked for a change, met some resistance but finally reception agreed to give us a smoke free room but with no view... Can't have it all...it seems.
Travel tip:
Great location. Close to all buses, subways and shopping areas...all within walking distance. We took advantage of the morning buffet... The dining area has a wonderful view of Osaka. It's on the 23 th floor.

Pretty good hotel with a great location

This hotel is in a great location. If you take the OCAT Namba bus from the airport in less than an hour it takes you right beside the hotel. It's a 5 minute walk from Dotombori and Shinsaibaishi shopping. It's very close to many different subway lines.
The hotel lobby is nice. My only complaints are: the pillows are ridiculously hard. I would bring my own. And the carpet needs a good cleaning/change.
