The stay was fine. Room was very small- and to be honest it wasn't value for money, too expensive considering the size of the room. Close to the castle, but no restaurants or shops around.Would pick a hotel with a better location closer to the tourist-things the next time.

Too late for check in. Had to wait till 3 pm. We had two rooms reserved for over 4 months.
We travelled by mid-night and arrived in Osaka, reaching Hotel around 10.30 am. The whole family needed to wash up and change. We did ask for one room for the purpose, but without success. Definitely annoying to kick off the trip with such late check-in and non-negotiable hospitality.
