great location hotel with lots of shopping and dining to do just a stone throw away from the hotel. beds and toilet are very clean and the room is considered spacious in Japan. Well worth the money paid for the room that we've got.

We stayed at Swissotel Nankai for 5 nights. Great facility, Good service, Friendly Staffs. Osaka Takashimaya Department Store is just below the hotel. Shinsaibaji-suji entrance is across the street. 3-line-subway interchange is only 3 minutes away on foot. Nankai Namba Station (Express Train to/from Kansai Airport) is below the hotel lobby. Highly recommended.

We have reserve 2 room for this stay, one is 1 person maximum, other one is 2 person maximum. But when we check in we were disappointed for the room which is 2 person maximum. Because they gave us the same type of room those are small room and only 1 queen bed in room even we ask for twin bed since the start. So in that night I've tried to ask for the twin room one again for the next day because we stay for 4 nights we cannot stay in only a small room with only 1 queen bed(which is not same as picture in website) then they has gave us the bigger room which has twin bed but we have to move the room in the next day.

Hotel is located in very good location, staff is very good service.

Hotel is closed to shopping area numba walk. And stay on the higher floor of Namba nankai station(JR which direct to Kansai airport). Actually we need to go down from the hotel with escalator to Namba nankai station because there is no elevator direct to station. If you have lot of luggage, you can ask hotel staff to send your luggage to station.
Hotel Feature Tip:
From Namba subway, please use exit 5 and then walk straight for 100m then turn left walk some step in the right side you will see door of Swissotel nankai. Then walk through door and go up with elevator to 6th floor then you will reach loony of hotel.

The hotel has a direct access to the train stations and the shopping malls. This is very convenient, especially if it is cold and windy or raining outside. The room is spacious and modern. A pillow menu is provided. Glad that the hotel has put customer's preference in mind. Will be better if there are more tv channels to choose from, esp those in English.

service was top-notched. staff speak fluent english. concierge staff were attentive to details, initiative and ever so willing to go the extra mile for guests. noticed a female staff chasing after a couple with young children to offer to help them with their luggage to the train station even though the couple have checked out. she even thanked the guy for helping her place their luggage on her trolley.
was my second time at swissotel nankai, and will always go back when i visit osaka.

Best place to access public transport of Osaka

Room is a bit small and recently refurbished. My room has great view of Osaka. The hotel is great to access public transport and all dining places. It's a great choice to stay in Osaka. Recommend it to everyone. But no free WIFI.

This hotel for is the best hotel in Osaka. Great location, it's right on top of Nankai Namba train station.
Being in Namba, its surrounded by thousands of shops and restaurants. Great for shopping and nightlife.
The room is big enough for our small family of 3, it has great features and awesome view, it even has a coffee machine and an iphone dock.
Nightlife Tip:
For anyone who never been to Osaka before, Shinsaibasi & Dontonbori area si only minutes walk from this hotel, it's a must if you liek shopping or eating. Great nightlife.

This is a nice hotel in Osaka.
The location is great which is right up at Namba station and near department stores. The location is great to travel to any planned visiting spots and getting foods.
The room is comfortable and spacious. The floor that we stayed was able to see city view, the night city view is beautiful. This is a great plus.

Couldnt have been better for the last few days of our holiday.
Travel tip:
Book early for this hotel on your arrival and if necessary the last days befor you leave. Its location above the Airport rail station is worth $$$$$$
