After spending most of our holiday in small ryokan style accommodation it was nice to stay in a modern hotel. The air con and comfortable bed were very welcome as it was the middle of summer.
Great location. Easy connection to the various train lines. And a coffee machine in the room!

we stayed in an executive suite on our wedding night. it was a good experience and the room was nice. but the bathroom wasn't special at all. for the money we paid for the room i was expecting a marble sink and a large shower with a separate bath, but instead it was like something you'd find in a motel. the bathtub and shower were a single unit, and in the same small room as the toilet. i was disappointed with that.
overall it was a nice experience, the staff was very helpful. i had arranged to put flowers in the room ahead of time and they provided a vase and had them ready when we walked in. they also provided bags and help to get everything out. they weren't picky about time so we ended up checking out an hour late. no complaints from the staff and smiles all around.
the breakfast was nice. it was a mostly western style buffet. i've had much better, especially considering this is a five star hotel, but it wasn't bad. we enjoyed our stay.
