Very well located just outside of the city buzz but very close by a metro stop that will bring to any location in Osaka. Stayed 3 nights and can't figure out why there's no towel or bed linen change. Equipped with a small kitchenette with everything you need to prepare a meal. This area is crowded with convenience stores so whatever you need is not further than a 1 minute walk (literally). In sum, a very good option

I stayed 4 nights with my husband. The staffs were so helpful. The hotel is near from subway & to Osaka palace. Hot shower was always available and air conditioner was working well. Funny thing was the screen in front of elevater at 1st floor, I could see what people are doing in elevator. I recommended to my friends this hotel and willing to stay next time.

Clean. Cozy & free. Easy to get. Near to Osaka palace.

Would be better to have a room where people can meet.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Osaka place is just 15 mins walk from the hotel. It's very near.

Location is good for business but not for tourists. However, it's good as it's in a walking distance from the subway. The staff at the front desk is very nice and helpful. All of them can speak English and know the area very well. However, I'm disappointed with the cleaning service that they didn't do at all for a whole 4 days of my stay. Amenities are only available upon check-in date but if I want more, I have to ask for it at the front desk.

English proficient and friendly staff at the front desk. Room is very large and fully equipped with all traveler's needed items. It's really like an apartment than a hotel.

Room is old and the bed sheet is very dirty. I can see a big stain which is so unacceptable on it.

Second stay at Weekly Mansion Otemae Hotel, Guest Rating: 4.2

Checked in for the second time on our trip around Japan. Arrived back late from Tokyo, rang the buzzer and they were quick to respond and in giving us the door card for the room. We stayed in a different room on another side of the Hotel, the room was set out better this time and seemed to have more space. The shower/bathroom was the same though and very small. Top location to all facilities and it was good to get back to Osaka compared to Tokyo.

Staff very helpful and spoke English which is a bonus in Osaka.

Balcony not very clean, but I don't think they are like Australians who spend lots of time on the balcony having a drink or two!

• Travel tip : Top local coffee shop on the corner opposite the Hotel. We ate breakfast there everyday which was thick toast and a boiled egg - bit sick of rice, pork and chicken so was nice to have something different.

The Hotel was in a top location, easy walking distance to the subway [which was the easy part, ha]. The room was large for Japan accommodation and provided a small self contained kitchen, which we didn't use as we ate out all the time. The Staff were very friendly - English speaking and great at giving directions. A laundry on the premises which is a big plus! Would stay there again if I returned to Japan and would recommend it.

Great quiet location, so close to everything including subways and food!

Combined shower and toilet very small, high bath to step in to have a shower.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Easy walking distance to The Castle and lots of attractions. We walked and walked all around this area and it is close to the river and museums plus all tourist attractions.

The room was big, clean and well fitted out as a hotel room. As an apartment the cooking facilites were poor but they were a bonus in a hotel room. Internet link worked and was a good speed. Television tuned to CNN and Discovery Channel. Air conditioning efficient. Staff reasonably helpful though English limited. 　Good situation for Osaka Castle and subway. Staff didn`t enter room during our week stay so no clean towels. Apart from Osaka Castle the area around the hotel was dull - offices and residential. Very little in the way offices and residential. Very little in the way of restaurants, especially English speaking. Currently a building site across the road so noisey.

General area unappealing. Little choice of restaurant. Towels not changed. Receptionists` English limited.
