Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Great location and nice onsen
good location, nice onsen, close to shopping area
7
the onsen was very nice, there was an outdoor onsen as well as an indoor one. the hotel was very comfortably furnished and cosy despite being quite small. it also had an entrance that leads directly into the street mall, which in turn has an entrance into the underground mall.
Travel tip:
shops and restaurants are generally open til quite late, so no worries if you're shopping or looking for a bite late at night.

Good position, japanese style's room
5
The hotel was in overbooking during my one night stay. Even my reservation explicit request a no-smoking room, at my arrival the staff told me that only a smoking room was available, arguing the reservation they har receive, didn't specified for a no-smok room. The room had a very strong bad smell, and only after the intervention of local Agoda's staff, and over half an hour of discussion with some staff peoples, they propose to me a non smoking room in the dependance hotel's.

Good location and good service
Near the shopping and dinning area
8.3
The room is small but tidy and clean. After we're shopping back to hotel , a hot spring is a good relaxing place you need. They provided free washing machine and laundry detergent. Just opposite the hotel, you can find many different kind of souvenir. You also have many choice for dinning, too. All is good!

the hotel was a bit difficult to find but if you know what you're looking for then its not difficult. (problem was i didnt know what to look out for)
there is these big archway arcades in sapporo, cant really miss them anyway the hotels in arcade #6 there are also these pennants above businesses so it'll tell you if its a hotel or not in plain english.
very nice hotel all in all i had absolutely no problems during my stay. totally satisfied customer!!
Shopping Tip:
If you're into Manga or whatever there is a Toranoana and a Melon books on the left hand side down the street before you enter Arcade #1. (Walking from your hotel in #6)

Lovely down to earth hotel ,service with a smile
Open bath and free washing machines, simple but comfortable rooms
10
from the beginning the staff were so friendly and helpful. things like complimentary coffee, ramen and washing machines just add to the comfort of your stay. the open bath on the second floor is a welcome retreat after a hard day. the location is surrounded with many cheap eats and places to drink. i would definitely stay here again.
Travel tip:
If arriving from the airport opt for the shuttle bus rather than the train. There is a stop right near the hotel and the fee is the same as the train.

Great Location, Small & Super Clean Rooms
Hearty Japanese Buffet Bft , CLEAN rooms, only about 22 SqM room & efficient helpful front desk.
9.7
Not very easy to find coming from the Susukino station with a full blown snow falling- we had to take a taxi- about 640 yen (US$7) , the hotel signage was about 25-30 feet high up on the bldg.
and on the hotel doormat. But once you get your bearings , the hotel is adjacent to a mall type arcade in Susukino with lots of stores for souveneirs, gifts, restaurants (lots of them). There is a japanese style unsen bath available for use by hotel guest- love it!
From Susukino station, Exit #4 is closest and has elevator lift from subway to ground level. Good to know that this Dormy Inn is a budget chain hotel in Japan, now we will have this hotel in mind when travelling in Japan.
Shopping Tip:
Just step out of the hotel- lots of shops to choose from ! most gvave upto 15% discount- cash payments only.

Got caught in a heavy snowfall the evening we came, Check-In was quick and fast, our non-smoking rooms were ready and clean, No Wi-Fi in the room only LAN cable (free internet) unfortunately my Macbook Air lives off Wi-FI only and the Airport Express I brought did not work with the LAN cable- had to use the free computer terminal at the lobby (1 computer terminal for guest use-FREE) . The japanese breakfast was yummy- had salad, miso soup, salmon, fruit salad & japanese rice (white & one rice variation with lavender- i had to try it! i prefer the white rice with the grilled salmon best.
Shopping Tip:
Stores take japanese yen Cash only- but gives 15% discount- when you buy at least 2 pcs.
