This was a nice little hotel in Sendai, fairly close to the station for a cheap price. It was hard to find so I would recommend having a map. They had a nice little breakfast, but it was definitely very japanese in the choices. The rooms were clean and the internet worked great.

While close to the station, we had some trouble locating this hotel because there is no English signage, which is unusual for a Japanese hotel. It's in the same block as the Chisun, which is easy to spot. The Green Mark is clean and comfortable. Room sizes and bathrooms are typically small but adequate. Would certainly stay there again.

Can walk from the JR station in 15 mins.

Lack of any English signs externally (although there was plenty of English information inside) made it difficult to locate this hotel.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, spoke some English, a bonus!

Lacking English signage externally, this hotel was difficult to locate. We walked past it a couple of times before asking at reception. Two "Green" group inns in the same street might have added to the confusion.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a ferry boat ride to Matsushima, through the islands, and also visit Yamadera. Both well worth the effort.

Price is reasonable. Staff are helpful and provided me with clear guidelines in visiting the city and nearby cities. I spent two days in Sendai and Matsushima. The castle, museum and Matsushima are places that one should never miss.
Staff at Tourist Information are also very helpful.
Excellent tourist facilities in the city with shopping malls and facilities.

Easily located from Sendai Station -- in a major area, but not very quiet. Room was kept clean and tidy, and while the rooms are indeed small, this is not surprising, given that it's Japan. A good place to lay your head for the night.
