Excellent Location, too expensive
great location, delicious authentic Japanese Breakfast,

Down town location, you can walk everywhere very easy. Rooms are worn out, smell like smoke, stains on carpet. I would have paid $80 tops for the room but we paid double that. Sleeping on the tatomy mats were great with small children no worry of falling off the bed. The breakfast was delicious and they make it for you when ever you would like.

Great Hotel in a Small Town

tsuwano is a lovely small town in shimane prefecture, and this is the perfect place to spend a night. small japanese style rooms where you sleep on futons. make sure to get the kaiseki dinner, it was excellent and a great value for a ryokan. the breakfast was ok, and the hotel didn't really have many frills.

Ein schöner traditioneller Ryokan. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber mit sehr wenigen Englischkenntnissen. Wir hätten gerne Abendessen oder Frühstück dazu gebucht.
