The rooms are small but very quiet. I've used the hotel a few times and have had a good night's sleep every time.
The older part of the hotel has slightly less comfortable beds.
It's located in a very nice part of Tokyo, very close to the subway station. The staff are really friendly, helpful and speak excellent English. For this part of Tokyo you'll be hard-pressed to find a hotel at this price, if you want to enjoy a night out in Roppongi this is a good option. The breakfast is a simple buffet with a choice between Western or Japanese food, nothing fancy but good enough. There are also a few restaurants on the way to the hotel from the subway station, plus a Tully's and a Doutor cafe. Everytime I've stayed here it's been full of visitors, probably a good sign in itself.
Shopping Tip : Yamaya opposite the subway exit has a nice selection of beer and wine.

They provided good service. They were able to answer questions immediately, or looked it up for you. They gave fresh towels even when you were not in the room. It was clean. The breakfast was great!
Early checkout time. They charge you extra if you are past their checkout time (which is earlier than most hotels). About a 10-15 minute walk from the subway. Small bathrooms.
The staff was extremely helpful. If you had questions about attractions or getting around, they were available and willing to provide assistance. They offered an assortment of vending machines and things to purchase at the hotel. The rooms were small. The AC worked GREAT!!! It was really hot when we visited Japan, so it was nice to come back to a cool room. It was about a 10-15 minute walk from the subway, so a bit of a hassle when carrying bags. My biggest complaint was the early check out time and then they charge you when you don't leave exactly on time. Their breakfast was great!!! Overall, I think it was definitely fair. Good value for your money, and nothing special.
Travel tip : The Roppongii Club district is near by. It's a fun place to go party and see celebrities. We saw a model shoot going on while we were walking there.

Breakfast, large selection of foods in the Buffet.
Internet - 15mbit direct in the room.
fantastic hotel which is closely located to everything. brilliant noodlebar just outside the hotel with good cheap meals. Staff were friendly and the room was perfect for our needs (3 grown adults, each got a single bed).
The proximity to everything around tokyo was a big plus allowing us to easily get around and see all the sites. Only confusing bit was leaving the station for the first time but its simple enough if you follow their instructions on their site.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Grab yourself a Suica card and just top it up. Easiest way to travel around Tokyo by far especially with their fantastic train network.

Clean rooms. Decent size.
Great staff. Breakfast. Easy to find.
The station was a little out of the way.
The rooms were clean and spacious (by Japanese standards). The staff spoke English well and were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included in the already cheap price and catered to both Japanese and non-Japanese tastes. The hotel was easy to find by following the directions on the website. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was excellent. The hotel is ideally located in a quiet area, but withing a one-block walk to restaurants.
Bathrrom was tiny and appeared to be an afterthought.
The staff and service was excellent. The lobby has computer access through a 100 yen per 10-minute service. This is convenient for those that do not want to use the free internet service in the guest rooms. The guest room itself was appointed nicely and the bed was comfortable. The only drawback was the small TV, which is viewed best by sitting at the desk on which it is located. As mentioned previously, the bathroom had all the requirements; however, it was very small.
Restaurant Tip : There is a place nearby (the one-block walk to the left outside the hotel entry), where you can get a great breakfast for 300 yen. It consists of buttered toast, hard boiled egg, macaroni sald, and coffee.

This hotel is wonderful and very very nice in a prime location of Tokyo. Their staff are very kind and helpful.
Our family stayed at the Asia Center of Japan Hotel where is at the great location in the center of the city. Their room was very comfortable and they were very welcome our kid who is 4 and a half year old to their service. The great impression was they provided us with complimentary voucher for breakfast which was unexpected and very nice. Of course, their meal was very good and provided us with the combination of international and traditional Japanese cuisine. I can say no more that we will highly recommend this place to everyone who is looking for an economical, children friendly and accessible place to stay in Toyko.

excellent clean, modern and comfortable hotel. excellent facilities and boasting a really convenient location. top marks! great staff, reasonable price for tokyo and nice comfy room (not too small with comfy beds).
cant think of any. didnt try the breakfast but then i rarely do in any hotel i stay at.
this is an excellent hotel. i cant understand why anyone wouldnt give this place top marks. yep, i'd happily stay there again. this place is clean and well located - the nearby metro stop gets you pretty much everywhere without having to change lines. the satff are really friendly and helpful with good english. its a short walk to roppongi, although shibuya and shinjuku have better, less tacky nightlife but as the metro is so convenient getting to these places is no hassle. its a really good hotel. loved the kimonos they supplied us with and what a toilet! washlets rock! i highly recommend this hotel.
Travel tip : while strange the first time you use them, washlets are well funny and pretty effective. go on, give em a go!

Low keyed hotel that caters to foreigners, but not giving up on the Japanese polite hospitality. Good staff with good rooms.
Off the beaten track, so has a bit of a walk to the train station. Slight inconvenience with the subway lines because of the transfers.
This hotel was an enjoyable place to stay because of the obscure location and a less hectic atmosphere despite its close proximity to a lot of major tourist spots. Eateries were relatively close by with enough selections. Convenient stores are close as well as the subway station.
The staff was high quality and the services provided were excellent. Although the room and lobby facilities were modest, the value we received from our package was very high.
It is not a hotel for everyone, but I would recommend it to anyone, especially a foreigner. You get to experience the truer Japan.

Clean, large room and bathroom, great service
Cost was more than expected
Twin room was great size, beds were comfortable with linen changed daily, very clean and tidy rooms with fridge, hair dryer, kettle, good sized bathroom for Japan standards, great customer service with good english spoken. Close walking distance to Roppongi and Asakasa. Within walking distance to Subway - little further to JR lines but a nice hotel.
Nightlife Tip : Roppongi only a 8-10mins walk and has a good nightlife with lots of places to eat and have a drink.

English speaking staff
Location is great, really is the center of Tokyo, very close to Roppongi and Harajuku. Also very accessible from Tokyo station.
Cheap buffet breakfast
Cozy rooms
Will allow you to check in to your room before check in time if your room's ready.
Check out time is 11am, unlike other places where it's 10am.
Single rooms are tiny, but very comfortable.
This hotel was great and I would definitely go back. The staff are amazing - really hospitable and they speak English! The location is perfect and close to a couple metro stations which give you direct access to Ginza and Harajuku. It's also within walking distance to Roppongi for those who are looking for a nightlife during their stay. Rooms are tiny, but really clean and comfortable (keep in mind that most budget Japanese accommodations are quite small)
I'd say if you're not looking for anything extravagant and want a cheap clean place in the center of Tokyo, this is the best place to stay.
Can't go wrong, plus they have cheap buffet breakfast for under a thousand yen.
I'd book here again if I return to Tokyo.
One more thing: I only realized afterwards that they are listed in the Lonely Planet Tokyo guide. If you have this guide, there's a map to the hotel right in the book.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Definitely must check out Takeshita-dori in Shinjuku. It's really close to Meiji-Jingu station on the Chiyoda line, exits 1-3.

Nice atmosphere, good staff, good view for restaurant.
Disposable slippers would be better.
I have been visiting the Center on December 2008. Modern, nice, clean with co-operative staff (English speaking - it's good for foreigners from all over the world who do not speak Japanese). I was surprised to meet a lot of visitors from different countries, if i'm not mistaken they were from USA, Finland, Spain, United Kingdom etc. I saw not only tourists but businessmen and even musicians (artists). Also I liked a lot the quality of restaurant (breakfasts were tasty, different meals, Japanese and continental choice - very good that they are thinking about different cultures for cuisine preference). I also liked the venue - the very center of Tokyo-city. You can find cultural sightseeing near by also - fantastic. Metro station and other transport opportunities are available - that's convenient for inexperienced and regular travelers. Thank You very much!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : That was a nice trip, very good location. The House of Emperors General - strongly recommend to visit and pray.

Hotel located in a very quiet places with good sleeping quality and convenient shopping areas.
This hotel was searched from internet and located in a very center of Tokyo area where is very convenient with shopping and subway system. Especially the whole area is in city but in a very quiet area which helps travellers to have a nice and secured place to take the rest. From airport to hotel is around one and half hour if take by bus and subway. Also, you can find the way to airport via railway system that also very convenient. The feeling of staying in the city center or Tokyo is quiet good.

The Center is very conveniently located, particularly for those who enjoy walking. Staff are generally very helpful. Breakfast buffet is excellent value.
Can be noisy, depending on the demographic of guests at any particular time. Room lights are hung too low for foreigner heads.
I have been staying here since 1991, and the new annexe is a great improvement. This time we had a double room which was a disappointment, as it was smaller than a twin, with no sofa and a single chair only. It was more like a single room with a larger bed. On the other hand, our room was close to the lift, but very quiet.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Mid Town Tokyo building just up the road towards Roppongi was full of interesting shops and has a handy supermarket and a range of restaurants in the basement. Also of interest in the area were the Museum of Modern Art and the Mori Tower, both within walking distance.

Great location . . Great staff who spoke very good english . . Very helpful front desk . . FREE water bottles at reception. . . free amenities to help yourself at reception . . . 2 x computers in lobby for 100Yen /10 mins.
Maybe another washing machine or two as they were always in use.(that is really trying hard to find something to comment on).
I met some people in Osaka who told me they had just stayed at this hotel and suggested that it was the perfect place for me. I made the booking through Agoda and it was great. As a hotelier back in Australia, I wanted a clean room and some english staff to help me if I needed it. This is exactly what I got. I was hardly in the room except for sleep (it is SO quiet in this location) and the bathroom is a a compact arrangement which works well.
I am very impressed with this hotel and would highly recommend it to singles as well as families. They do have a restaurant serving breakfast but I never made it there as I was out walking (note- an additional charge). Two subways close by; Preece supermarket is approx 6 ins walk towards Roppongi in the new Tokyo Midtown complex which also has many restaurants and casual places to eat downstairs.Very safe walking at night and easy to get around. Staff at the front desk will help with anything . . including maps and translations.
I am rebooking this hotel for my next trip. Great for business people or for tourists.
Nightlife Tip : Being in the heart of Tokyo, it was a short stroll to Roppongi, home of the nightlife. Central to two subway stations within 5mins walk, this hotel was in a fabulous position

When my uncle and I arrived at the hotel we found a room with one big bed (not so big). As they knew we were two men we hoped to find a room with two beds.
The staying there was finally satisfactory, also we could not find for the first two nights a room with two beds. My uncle and I we had to sleep in a big bed which was not really so big. Sleeping in that was not so pleasant. But for the last three nights the staff found for us a very nice and clean room with two comfortable beds
