Very close to the subway line, close to Starbucks.

No English channels on tv

Very close to the subway line, close to Starbucks, and the shrine. The beds were comfortable. Was very clean and the staff was friendly. The price was pretty cheap compared to other hotels, but was still a very nice hotel. I would stay here again.

The hotel was in a great location for transport (5 minutes' walk approx), restaurants and places of interest. We chose to stay there because it was easy to visit friends from there but it was also great for Ueno, where many museums are. The decor was smart, and the restaurant in the lobby had a restricted menu but the food was very good.

The reception staff's English was limited, the menu in the restaurant was rather limited too. We would have liked a non-smoking room.

We arrived early in the morning, and found the hotel easily, arriving by train and metro from Narita airport. From the station the walk to the hotel is pleasant and fun, going through the market or nearby shopping street. There was a convenience store on the opposite corner (7/11), with ATM, which was handy. There were some great sushi restaurants nearby. The neighbourhood was very pleasant to walk around, and we liked the hotel and its restaurant - but last orders for food was 9pm, and drink 10pm. The restaurant staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The rooms were smart and clean, housekeeping was prompt and helpful, and we had a view of Asakusa from our hotel window, with a funfair in the distance which our kids liked to look at!

Shopping Tip : The 7/11 convenience store opposite had an ATM which accepted European cards - most of the Japanese banks don't, we were only able to get cash in post offices (which are open 7 days, even till 8pm on Sunday), or 7/11s.

Nice and clean with full facilities. about 10mins walk to the nearest subway

none

Affordable and I recommend this to those looking for best value, provided if you booked through Agoda. The hotel is equipped with all the necessary facilities. It is also conveniently located near to Asakusa subway station and next to Sensoji.
