Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Japanese experience
Cheap, fun, excellent onsen
7.7
I really wanted to experience the capsule hotel since it only exists in Japan. There is not a lot of capsule hotel which allows women to stay in. This one has a floor dedicated for women which require the use of a key. It is not really confortable but it fulfills its function which is sleep only. The bad is comfortable but the capsule is only 1m wide and in height.
Downside is that the lockers are too small if you want to put your backpack in. Plusside is that the onsen is woman only and really nice. Towe, Shamppo and Soap, hair dryer, Yukata... Everything is supplied by the hotel.
And the hotel itself is really close to the subway/JR lines. It is a litlle complicated to find when you are non Japanese since I never understood how the adresse is buid so better have a map with you.

It was good for a single night but if staying for longer or with kids i think a proper hotel would be better. the staff were friendly and spoke english well. It was central to some.main sttraction like the tokyo skytree.

The odd thing about this Capsule Hotel was the fact that the lockers are small (you could put at most 2 or 3 jackets). So, I had to leave my backpack in the lobby/sitting-room.
For solo travelers, capsule hotels is a very good choice.

The capsule inn was a great Japanese experience!
The women's relaxation room with hot rock beds and onsen! The staff were great and the location was excellent!

Interesting Experience
Location, onsen and close to restaurants.
5.3
I took my sister here to experience a capsule hotel, but I have to admit that neither of us were impressed. The hotel was visibly old and run-down, the capsules themselves were a little dirty. Also, there were no showers in the hotel and instead there was an onsen (which admittedly was nice). However, for anyone who is at all squeamish about the Japanese tradition of getting naked and going into the bath together, then this hotel would not be for you. There are sitting showers to use before the bath, but they are open plan and everyone is still naked. Also, as two guests who both have tattoos, it was a little awkward as tattoos tend to have a bad image in Japan. However, if you can manage to get there when no-one else is there, it is a pleasant experience.
The redeeming feature of this hotel was its location. Situated very close to a train station that has a Metro line and JR line, so travelling from there was very easy. Also there are many restaurants in the area, many of which stay open very late.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to experience a traditional capsule hotel, but unless you are used to very cheap, shabby hostels then I suggest staying only for one night.
