great location but small rooms
The bath room was a little bigger than Japanese average

The quality of the hotel was decent, but the walls for paper thin. You can hear the people next to you at almost all times. The staff only spoke Japanese, which is fine. We are in Japan.

we had a one day layover from narita, and were looking for a hotel in tokyo that would be close to the tsukiji fish market. this was perfect for the price and location we were looking for.
we read a couple of concerns about the room size and location directly next to the train. the room was small - if you're carrying lots of luggage i could see it as an issue, but we were traveling light. the location is right next to the train, but the noise was negligible (these aren't choo-choo trains, after all) and the station closes down a little after midnight anyways.
the walk from the jr train station to the hotel is totally manageable (it's basically a stroll through a toshiba office park). didn't see too much in terms of restaurants, but that may have as much to do with the time of day we arrived & departed.
would definitely stay again for proximity and price.
