New, very comfortable, quiet and Clean. Bigger than typical tokyo hotel. Small kitchenette. It even has a humidifier..so it is not so dry when the heater is on at night.
Quite a walk to the nearest train station. Need to pay for coin operated laundry at the 1st floor. The nearest is the Shinjuku 3-Chome station which is 10 minutes walk. Cost around 800 Yen to take cab to the Shinjuku station.
I strongly recommend staying in this service apartment. You can only have 2 person in each studio room. So, if you have a family of 4, you will have to plan to book 2 studio rooms. It is generally very convenient in terms of getting food. I personally like this place alot. Will definitely come back to stay here again. The front desk staff can speak good English. They are courteous and professional, however, not as friendly as I expected. Could be improved if they smile more.
Travel tip : 7 Eleven is round the corner... very convenient. Also you can get low cost beef bowl takeaway at Yoshinoyu nearby if you do not feel like cooking or eating out. There is also a Lawson 100 Yen shop.. good deal for your money.

Clean, Comfortable, Modern looking
Citadines Shinjuku Tokyo is a comfortable, clean, modern looking and reasonably priced rate apartment hotel. The available kitchen facilities make travelling with two young children slightly easier. Reception staff were very informative and helpful with places of interest to visit and directions on how to get around Tokyo (especially the metro trains) especially when we are not conversant with Japanese.
