This hotel located in downtown Tokyo is within walking distance of one of the most famous landmarks in Japan; The Imperial Palace. The hotel offers 180 rooms all of which come complete with a personal computer and free internet connection, flat screen TV and comfortable furnishings. The in-house restaurant serves delicious dishes from southern Italy and there are many types of eateries and local food stalls around the area outside the hotel. Across from the hotels main entrance is the Shimbashi station which will take you to other parts of Tokyo easily and quickly. The Dai-ichi Hotel Annex is comfortably close to major tourist destinations such as Disneyland and the Tokyo Dome which makes the hotel very popular with families.

beware of the smoking rooms

I ordered a non-smoking room but on arrival none was available. If the room smelled too much, I could go back to the reception. The room smelled horrible so I went. They said there was nothing they could do, no other rooms available, non-smoking is only a request, no guarantee, It took me 20 minutes to get a rooms where at least the window could open and luckily this rooms smelled less bad. If you can get over this, then the location is very convenient, just in between Shimbashi and Ginza. So many shopping, drinking and eating opportunities. And very convenient for transport.But I thought it was overpriced.
