Great place to stay in Tokyo
Location, public transport and food
9.3
There were 6 adults staying at the Dai-ichi Hotel and we all found it a great experience. The staff were very accommodating and if they didn't understand our request in English, they quickly went and found someone who could. The rooms were very good with wonderful bedding and a large bathroom. There was a great variety of food to be had and all within a short walk from the hotel. From McDonalds (2 mins walk) and KFC (8 mins walk if that)to truly Japanese noodle bars and restaurants and all at good prices. There are lots of 7/11 and Lawson stores close by too that cater with take out food and carry fresh milk.

good location, bad service, bad value
short walk to Shimbashi Station
4.7
Despite ample rooms being available, the hotel staff required us to pay a full extra night for early checkin 4 hours before standard checkin time. They made it sound normal in Japan, but my colleagues said it is very unusual.
Near the train tracks, so also a bit noisy.

Great place to stay in Tokyo
Efficent, comfortable and clean
8.3
We have stayed here several times and love that the airport bus drops you off right in front of the hotel. Hotel is very central, close to major Tokyo train stations, Imperial Palace grounds, Ginza and more.

Convenient hotel for our Tokyo holiday
Location, relatively small size and convenience
7.7
We had a pleasant stay and would come back again
We didn't appreciate the lack of flexibility and the poor pricing on our request to extend by 2 nights, at 35% more expensive than our Agoda price, and swithced hotel therefore.

Great hotel very professional, great location

i booked a twin room for 2 people, when i went to check in they had my booking as a single. why would i wan to book a twin room for one person. when i made the booking on agora it asked how many people i clearly said two people. the mistake was either agora or the hotel. eventually it was sorted out but these sort of issues spoil what was other wise a great stay in a great hotel.
very limited international television service and hard to operate tv controls

Very impressive honeymoon stay at this hotel
close to train/metro station and restaurants but very quiet
9.7
Although this is more like a business hotel but we chose it for our honeymoon and it's very impressive. Good room and bed and also high class bathroom. Close to traffic spot and very convenient but still keep quiet. Only one thing mde me uncomfortable was if you wear a casual dress and walk into the hotel, the staffs may pay attention to you. But it might also because they care about safety. Except this, others are perfect.
