Rooms need refurbishing. Multiple stains on carpet and bed surrounds. Small and dated bathroom. Noisy due to proximity to the train tracks.

Great location but no views
Location was perfect for business or shopping. Large rooms compared with other hotels
8.7
I really enjoyed the location that is very close to the shinbashi station and ginza shopping area. Walked many places including the imperial palace. Limousine bus stops at this hotel too. Just so convenient as I had busy schedule in short stay. Sperior double room was bigger than other hotel rooms and comfortable but no good views from the room -that was ok for me as I was out most of the time.
I had to pay more when I had to stay extra night so better book through Agoda in advance!
Restaurant Tip:
There are lots of restaurants around hotels and all of them I tried was very good, yummy food and reasonable prices. Specially shops under the rail way were very good ones.

Its common to have very good service in any Hotel in Japan. During this stay, I was very impressed with the extended service given to me by the Front Desk Reception. I received a map,fax from my japanese counterpart in Japanese. Without any hesitation, he handed me a english hotel map, explaining in details of my meeting place. Afraid I would have communications problem, he even wrote a note for the taxi driver to fetch me to my destination. His gestures has prompted me to write and hope his service will be recognised. Thank you Mr Isao Uchida.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you have a full day free, book a trip from the hotel to Mt Fuji returning by Hakone via Bullet Train. Costing around 16000yen, a little ex, but its value for money.

Great Location, Spacious Room!
so close to the JR and Toyko Metro, lots of restaurants near by
9
I stayed 3 nights at this hotel, and I love the service, the staffs are very friendly and helpful.
Perfect location, if you like to hang around in Ginza area, its only 5 mins walk away from the hotel. Shimbashi got many 24 hours restaurants so no worry about getting a bite at midnight. Easy access to JR and Toyko Metro! just 5 mins walk!
Room is clean, spacious (much bigger than most of hotels located in Shibuya, Shinjuku, etc)
The inner decor is quite classic, and I would suggest to get the room with odd number, since the room with even number (e.g. 1628) facing the railway, in the morning, you might hear some noise...
if u are looking for a comfortable stay, here is the place!
Nightlife Tip:
For those who loves night life, the hotel is a bit far from Roppongi and Shibuya. Taxi at the night can be pricy!

i always choose dai chi if there is availability as i love to spend time after work shopping in Ginza and this is near to everything. the room is decent sized comparing to other hotels in tokyo and the price is okay. the staff are nice but arent them all in Japan? slow check in though.
