Easy access to Shibuya and Harajuku
Good location to shopping areas, quality rooms and free ramen for supper

You basically dont need to take JR and subways to other shopping areas if you stay in this hotels. All shopping zones like Shibuya, Harajuku, Meji Dori...are all within 10 mins walk.
Remember to go to Streamer Coffee Company for a quality latte with nice latte art, which is just 5 mins walk from the hotel!

Lovely Cosy Hotel in the heart of Shibuya
Clean, Extremely Friendly Staff, Makes you feel right at home

I stayed at this hotel during christmas 2012 and it was a delightful experience. The walking distance to the hotel is around 10 minutes from the station. Check in was swift. staff - truely a credit to the hotel. Free ramen was provided every night which was lovely. I would not hesitate to reccomend this inn to anyone of my family and friends.

Second time Just as nice. Great Hotel

Dormy Inn was found and booked last minute. I was very surprised at everything about this hotel: the size of the rooms (large), the ammenities, service. Everything about it was great, including the price.
I would have no problem staying here again (and in fact I booked Dormy Inn again for the 2nd half of my trip after I left for Osaka and came back to Tokyo).
I really like this hotel. Only cons are that the staffs' english is limited to checking you in and out.
It's a great location, only 10 mins from Shibuya Station up a very mild grade. Easy walk.
I didn't try the spa but it looked interesting.

I stayed nine nights at Dormy Inn and overall my stay was great and really good value for money. The location is good from the perspective you can walk toward Shibuya or Harajuku.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Would recommend getting a taxi from Shibuya station if you've travelled by train from Narita. My only complaint is the constant train noise (unavoidable) and sometimes the rooms got really hot.

I was very surprised during my stay at Dormy Inn. The location is great (an easy 10-15min walk straight up from Shibuya station), service is very good, although only a few staff speak enough English to help you beyond checking in. Rooms are "large" for Japanese standards, and well stocked and have comfortable beds, great shower and bathroom area. Very clean. I didn't try the spa area, but it looked nice. Breakfast is decent, but better than typical continental fare. Extremely fast, free wifi. nice lounge area. For the price, you can't beat it.

Amazing hotel If I ever come back to Tokyo I will

i was here for 2 weeks. the hotel is very comfortable with 2 metro stations a few minutes walking. five minutes from famous shibuya crossing. the rooms were a reasonable size everything clean. the morning breakfast was also great with a good assortment of foods.
the service was very polite and helped me with calling with a japanese mobile phone to activate a data sim card that i needed for connectiong to google maps. good hotel for the money.

It's a really good hotel. English speaking staff, Japanese hot bath and free wifi. The room I had was fantastic. Train access is very close. I mainly used the subway in harajuku to get around Tokyo. I'll definitely stay in dormy inn again when I go back to Japan.
