Ginza Capital Annex Hotel, Tokyo

The Ginza Capital Hotel Annex has a clean and well appointed lobby. The rooms are small but for the minimal price and great location the hotel offers good value for your dollar. I was able to receive free wi-fi in my room although the signal was not very strong. My only complaint would be the minimal A/C was not able to provide much cooling. However, the windows open wide and can help but the street noise makes this a less than idea option. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Frankly I must say that the impact I had on the hotel was more favorable than expected. First of all, the central location is a great advantage. Ginza shopping area is at few minutes walking distance as well as the fish market. Extreme kindness of the staff. In more than one occasion I was in need of finding touristic locations and the staff promptly satisfied me. They even suggested restaurant, made reservation and gave directions how to reach it. However, upon check-in I was not notified about possibility to have breakfast in the hotel (at 2nd floor) but only informed of an annexed restaurant for possible meals (with discount by showing the hotel card). Unfortunately I did not ask if the breakfast facility was available only for certain category of guests, please verify and advise in general information. Although rooms were clean and well equipped with accessories, not enough space available for baggage and clothes (very limited). We were three in a three bedded room and staying for four nights, we could hardly unpack and stow our bags.
