The hotel is located in the good location, close to Shinganawa station. The hotel also provide free shuttle ride to the station though it is only a few minutes walk from the station. The staff are very helpful and most of them speak english. a few more computers available for guests to use The grand prince Takanawa is located in a good location close to JR station, Shinagawa station. The hotel is more secluded and less crowded than the other 2 prince hotel. There are lots of shops, restaurant and a supermarket by the Shinagawa station. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Most of them speak english.

really good and nice hotel, shuttle bus to city and to airport. nice and modern rooms. guest relation helpful in all questions (flight confirmation, medical center, ticket for event at last evening at Tokyo (cirque du soleil).

no problem to store luggage for 13 days and also our values at the safety box at the cashier. No problems to get an upgrade of room as a starwood member on both night we stayed at this hotel.

walking distance to Shinagawa railway station
all staff very friendly and spoke English

complimentary western and Japanese buffet breakfast Bar prices for drinks in the up market bars were expensive. To stop people using internet excessively they should have auto disconnect after 10 mins. Prince hotels had a number of hotels in this Tokyo area. The hotel had a mixture of business and tourists.Some of the bars and restaurants were expensive. The breakfast was complimentary and good choice of foods. The TV had CNN and BBC that was handy for non Japanese.A free shuttle bus is provided to access the station.Shuttle buses to Narita airport stop at the hotel.The gardens around the hotel were very nice and this time of year Christmas lights decorated the grounds at night.We also liked the spacious public and lobby areas.
Shopping Tip : shops around and under Shinagawa had an excellent choice of all sorts of take away food and drinks at reasonable prices.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the japanese garden of the hotel is really beautiful. Poor food & beverage outlets. Hotel staff does not speak english well enough. The most selling points of the hotel is location.
But the hotel looks tired.

Great view from our room. Beautiful hotel with lovely gardens. Close to railway station. The hotel was out of the main Tokyo and therefore did not cost an arm and a leg. However it is very close to the railway station that will take you right into town. A lovely hotel with a great japanese garden at the back. Our room had a great view of central Tokyo. Our room, while not large, was very comfortable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The trains in Japan are very clean, fast and efficient. The station is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel

Handy to train. Good views from room We caught the train from Kyoto to Tokyo and got off the train station and walked the short distance to the hotel. The hotel was clean with the rooms, while not large, very comfortable. There was a beautiful garden at the rear of the hotel and we had a great view of Tokyo from our bedroom.
Travel tip : The trains in Japan are clean, fast and efficient. The station is within 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

good location very quiet and nice view charming garden Very nice hotel located 2 steps from the Shinagawa station. Reception and staff very pleasant and always willing to help you. Pleasant garden, always a little windy. Warm pool, though shallow. Breakfast excellent offering a western style or Japanese style. Finally the view from 12 floor was particularly beautiful.
