Nice but somewhat dated hotel.
Garden nearby, quiet area, easy access to Shinagawa train station.

No coffee maker in the room. No coffee in lobby before breakfast opens at 6 or 6:30. This is a bit rough if you are an early morning person. Hotel is clean and well maintained, near a very nice garden, typically gracious Japanese service.

everything was good or supperve, except interior desgine at lobby area is really bad taste. Color scheme is post-war. furniture and decoration is worse than amateur job.Free wireless was nice but not fast enough, not high speed.

Good
Good place to start visit tokyo. Rooms are functionals and outside there is a nice garden, a real corner of peace in one of the biggest cities in the world! Staff is very kind and helpful.

Superb location and up in the hill
Nice Japanese garden in the vicinity of the hotel

The hotel could provide shuttle bus to Shinagawa station, otherwise you will need to walk for 10 minutes to arrive to the station to get to elsewhere in Tokyo. Otherwise the location is superb as there is Shinkasen train right at the Shinagawa station.

Convenient loacation, but a bit long walk from Shinagawa station. room size is bigger than starndard of hotel in Japan. hotel staff can commnunicate in English.
Howeweve very busy hotel, a lot of customer in and out.

The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. I love the room which is big and comfortable. The good thing is the garden outside the hotel which is very nice. However the hotel is no gym and swimming pool.
