Travelled to Tokyo for 1st time for business and was very pleased about the experience at the hotel. First class rooms and facilities. Convenient location near subway station, restaurants, and shops. Excellent and friendly customer service. Cost-wise, quite expensive in central Tokyo. Would visit again for business purposes but stay in different hotel for holiday.

Nice, comfortable & good location
Staff was really friendly, always happy and eager to help. Shuttle service to main station shinjuku. Airport limousine pick up available from hotel which made things much easier.

The Hilton Tokyo were among the few hotels I was staying in during my stay in Tokyo, and I'm sad to say that my experience at this hotel was not as pleasant as I thought it would be. Reason being was probably because there was a slight complication with my reservation, though the hotel staff were patient and helpful, they did not seem at all pleased or willing to help. After about an hours wait did I only manage to settle my issue and get to check-in.
I am very grateful to Agoda's customer service (Yuki) who went all out to aid in resolving the problem not to the front desk at the Hilton Tokyo.

Passing through the lobby was always a nightmare as it was like a market place - noisy, packed full of people and disorganised. Waiting time for the lifts up to the room was very long, granted it was because the hotel was going through renovations and several lifts were shut down. But once up in the room, it was peaceful and comfortable. Toilet was a disappointment - completely outdated despite the General Manager's reassurance in trip advisor that all the rooms and toilets would be fully renovated by Jan 2013 which was then delayed to March 2013. I picked Hilton based on this assurance but unfortunately when I arrived in late March 2013, the toilets were still not ready. Executive lounge was overbooked and 2 out of 3 nights we were not able to get in.

My first impression of checking in at the Hilton was very negative. We arrived there, on a Monday, from a rural city in Japan where we have been faced for several hours with the strong possibility of the plane being unable to fly to Tokyo due to heavy fog. I had requested a twin non-smoking room.
On checking in, I was informed that we would have to take a double room on the smoking floor. I asked if the room was a smoking room and the answer was in the positive.I refused such an offer due to my wife's allergies. After much hassle - and what seemed to be some language difficulties - everything was sorted out to our satisfacation.

We stayed there for a whole week with two small children. They seem to had good time staying at the hotel. Room was very big and clean. We had no difficulties in giving bath to a small baby at the hotel while we stayed there. Service was fast and very nice. Hotel locates very close to the Shinjuku station and easy access to major attractions.
Shopping Tip:
Walk from the hotel toward Shinjuku station, you will find many small shops. There are many big department stores nearby the station and you can walk through the station to get to one another.
