Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

quiet, pleasant service, they speak English at the reception desk, facilities all clean and well-functioning, excellent value-for-money, an empty and cold fridge in the room, free internet
I couldn't find any, but of course, it's not a luxury hotel, location just a little beyond walking distance from Tokyo station (with luggage, taxi required)
I had to work in my room most of the time, but that was fine. The rooms are small, but clean and convenient -- everything you need is there. At the reception desk they are friendly and provide precisely the service you want (ordering cabs, etc.). Except for the fact that it's not easy to find, perfect for someone looking for an inexpensive place to stay in the very center of Tokyo. And it's near the Ginza.
Travel tip : It's near the Ginza, one of Tokyo's posh shopping district. Have a good look around, it's not cheap, but it's worth it.

No free Internet.
The Lobby is a bit gloomy and dark.
After a trip to the rural Japan we wanted to see the best of Ginza.
Even though in the beginning the location of this hotel looked a bit far, we found that when you go from the hotel to the Bank of Japan, which is located 4 blocks away, you are in the center of this nice and rich area.
From there, you just walk straight and find yourself in the busiest street in town.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walk. The JR train station, the closest to the Hotel, is not a nice and friendly one. We found it better to walk to Ginza street and get a train from there.

It is easy to reach by metro and train
it is a old hotel, nont very confortable
our rooms were for smoking when we ask no smoking rooms. For the employe of the hotel this is a problem that they couldn't resolve. \nwhen we arrived at tokio, we were in japan for about two week, is not easy to undersant each other but in every place all the peaple we knew, was very kind, this was the first place were the employe don't ask if it was all ok and help us with rooms.\nthe hotel is old, but easy to reach by train and metro, near the hotel there are two drugstore, and one starbuks. it is very near to one of the beast area in tokio for the elettronic shopping, just 1 metro stops and with the nearest metro stop is easy to reach the most actrative place like ginza jr tokio and other.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Location, Location, Location; one stop from Akiba, a short hop to Big Sight, within walking distance of Tokyo Central almost.
Price; For it's location and services, you could do much worse.
EXTREMELY fast internet!
7/11 located right next door, which not only keeps you feed, but also allows for ATM withdraw.
Really small shower. Like, you wake up the guy next door bumping around in there.
Thin walls. We had what sounded like a day care center next door...or was it three doors down, I still don't know.
It's not absolutely perfect, but damn close enough. I used this as base camp for my vacation in Tokyo and to go to Comiket 74. It turned out to be one stop down from Akihabara, which was nice. For the truly hardcore, it's only about eight miles walking distance from Big Sight, if you want to beat the first train that is.
The only bad points where the shower/bath which was annoying but not major, and the fact that voices really carry there...though that's actually pretty common here in Japan. The hotel "cafe" isn't worth your time though. You're better off saving your money buying a bentou somewhere.
I usually stay in Roppongi, since it's cheaper but having to not commute as much was nice.
Next year I'll be booking this hotel again, plain and simple.
Restaurant Tip : There is an Izakaiya and a Chinese restaurant nearby.
