Near to subway and shopping. Always stayed in Metropolitan when in Tokyo. The last 2 visits since the change from Crowne Plaza have not been pleasant experience mainly due to poor staff attitude. No effort whatsoever to try to make the stay more comfortable. Every reasonable request is met with a negative reply!

convenient location - few minutes to subway, near to 7-11, near to shopping centre stuffy, have to open the window. Bed sheet doesnt look appealing The thing that we love about this hotel is that it is about 2 minutes walk from the ikebukuro station. The hotel staff is very helpful and polite. Our room is not too bad, we got what we have requested for. Trust me, if you are thinking of looking for a hotel near to station, this is a perfect choice. There are convenient stores and restaurants nearby and so there is no issue on finding food. The refrigerator is locked for unknown reason. There is a stench in one of the rooms that we stayed in and the bed sheet doesnt look appealing at all.
