Great Location and Service is excellent
The staff are very helpful and the location is very convenient as the train station is within 5 mins walk for the hotel.

The location is very convenient as the train station is within 5 mins walk for the hotel. The staff are very helpful to help us in our trip to mt fuji within our budget and disneyland is just 45 mins away from the hotel. They do provide traveller adaptor for tourist.
Their rooms are quite small but I think is fine for people without children.

Great location and excellent service.
Walking distance to Ikebukuru station, shopping center and lots of eateries

This is my 3rd time staying in this hotel.The service is excellent and the staff members are friendly.As requested for an early check-in, I was given a room on the 22nd floor at 12.30pm which nomally the check-in time is 2pm.There is also the airport limousine pick-up point right infront of the hotel.

hotel is located within walking distance of train station. staff were helpful in giving guidance & directions. had a pleasant stay there. room rates were value for money. ask for non-smoking rooms though.

the only con about the metropolitan is not having any wifi, saying that though when coming back to australia the international roaming fees were very high so the for 5min in business centre not so bad an option. fantastic location with 2 worlds on either side of ikebukuro station. really could not have asked for a better stay.
Restaurant Tip:
local restaurants in street walking up to train from hotel are great, tapa's downstairs on corner was really nice and not too expensive and also the kitchen cafe for a beautiful japanese pasta and the bar with all the red and white lanterns out the front, all have an english menu if you ask.

Great location near the JR system, so it is really easy to get around the city. A lot of nice restaurants to pick from inside the hotel. Direct limobus service to/from airport. Only thing I didn't like was the small shower curtain. Easy for water to splash outside.

Hotel room is good size and good access for everything. We find good breakfast, cakes and tea, and even good sushi restaurant in it. I'd like to introduce the exposition of Japanese traditional craft shop where you can see the traditional crafts including Kimono etc. from all over Japan.
Hotel Feature Tip:
on front there is the box for donation to Touhoku Quake so good to give your donation than tip.

Comfortable, modern hotel, a quick walk to trains

There is a shuttle bus that runs direct to the hotel ( ). And I used it for the return as well. Room is small, but cozy. Everything I needed was within walking distance. Held several meetings in the coffee lounge on the 2nd Fl mezzanine, and it worked just fine. They have a great gym, but there is a sizable charge to use (I believe I recall it being Factor that in to the "room" charge next time (I selected this hotel originally because of the location/access to multiple trains, and for the gym, so was surprised at the add-on charge for the latter... didn't see it mentioned on Agoda's site).
Plenty of convenience stores, food options in the neighborhood. Staff was superb. I would definitely stay here again.
Restaurant Tip:
Basement of the department store: lots of selection for good prices.

the room was clean and so was the hotel
located very close to the Ikebukuro train station- great access
air conditioning worked very efficiently- mandatory in Tokyo in the summer
I would definitely stay here again- the price was reasonable
Shopping Tip:
Metropolitan Plaza is a 2 minute walk away- many shops, and a CitiBank branch for cash advances

excellent hotel, great location

stayed here earlier and checked out for 3 day strip to mt fuji area and the hotel staff were very helpful and nice about helping us store out luggages until we checked in again for our last few days in tokyo.
fantastic location for train transfers as ikebukuro station is a major transfer station. also 1/2 stops from shinjuku, the mother of all transfer stations if your travelling out west of the main tokyo city area. airport limo direct to hotel, but if not, the metro services are very well connected to haneda airport.
