In a great location! Ginza area for shopping! Ginza is the Times Square of Japan! We were very impressed with the close walk to Ginza not to mention JR train close.
Room was tiny but my wife felt it was very cute with nice decor.
This hotel is in a perfect spot for walking to the downtown Ginza district of Tokyo. We arrived on a Sunday and checked in and walked to Ginza district main street which was closed down to traffic so people can shop. This area has every high in name: Tiffany, Chanel, Coach and many more. My wife thought she was downtown NY. Hotel is close to many restaurants and transportation hubs. We would stay again for sure.
Restaurant Tip : There's an open 24 hrs a day McDonalds within a short block from this hotel. Not to mention a Starbucks which is also very close.

location, location, location
small, a bit dirty, with disorganized, snooty staff
The Monterey La Soeur Ginza Hotel Tokyo is located close to subway trains and is walking distance from Yakitori Alley and the Tsijuki Fish Market. Lots of good restaurants and shopping around; close to post office as well; easy access to JR train and Tokyo Station. The rooms are tiny and need a paint job, and the staff can be a bit cold and stuck up. The restaurant, while good with the food, needs a better seating system; queues way too long.

clean
convenient location
boradband access
very small room
staff with limited english
I booked a single room, and unlike other countries, single rooms in Japan really means only a single bed! So the room was really tiny, with just enough room for a bed, a table and a cupboard! However, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable enough.
Location-wise, it's great. Subway just round the corner, which made getting around Tokyo really easy, and it's close to lots of shopping centres with supermarkets and delicatessens for quick bites.
Restaurant Tip : Food is expensive in Japan. For a quick and decent bite, go to any of the supermarkets in the shopping centres nearby. They have deli counters with hot and cold food, including sushi. At the end of the day, around 8pm, food is discounted - great for takeaways.
