Nice rooms, although bathroom is really tiny.

Breakfast is expensive (Y2888). The choice is limited and the quality is rather basic.

I have spend 5 nights in this hotel (main building). It is a gigantic complex with hundreds of rooms. There are plenty of shops inside the complex. I a reasonably satisfied; i may come back but i am not sure. Especcially the breakfast was a disappointment in respect to the price. Howwever rooms are comfortable and the standard is good.

Close to the sights, very beautiful and picturesque

Too big.

Tokyo is a great place but very expensive to visit. It is difficult to move around if you are unfamiliar with the language. The hotel does not have a pick-up service to and from the airport. We had to hire our own transportation service. We were lucky to find someone who spoke english and became our guide. For a 5 star hotel, this is very dissapointing. This hotel was so big that it lost its personal charm. The hotel was very picturesque and only good for the Kodak moments.

Excellent service. Good room standard. Beautiful Japanese garden. Skyline views/restaurant

Lack of spa/ sauna/ swimming complex

We knew that the hotel was large and well establised before we arrived but the scale of the hotel is incredible. It consists of 3 seperate buildings which are inter-linked. For such a large and relatively old complex, it could have been expected that certain parts maybe in need of repair but if this was the case we did not notice them. Everything was immaculate and clean. The room appeared to have been recently refurbished, and for Japan where rooms are normally small, this was a good size. The hotel boasts 101 shops and numerous restaurants. Breakfast was not included but this was probably better as it gave the option to choose where to eat. Negative points: swimming complex only open in the summer and spa complex reserved for 'club' members only. Hotel probaly appeals to an older client but the sheer size and facilities is worth the experience.

Restaurant Tip : Our tip would be the garden restaurant with a window view of the Japanese garden. Dinner has to be in the rooftop restaurant with revolving floor giving a 360 degree view of Tokyo. These 2 restaurants must have some of the best views in the world and the food is not bad either.
