We knew that the hotel was large and well establised before we arrived but the scale of the hotel is incredible. It consists of 3 seperate buildings which are inter-linked.
For such a large and relatively old complex, it could have been expected that certain parts maybe in need of repair but if this was the case we did not notice them. Everything was immaculate and clean.
The room appeared to have been recently refurbished, and for Japan where rooms are normally small, this was a good size.
The hotel boasts 101 shops and numerous restaurants. Breakfast was not included but this was probably better as it gave the option to choose where to eat.
Negative points: swimming complex only open in the summer and spa complex reserved for 'club' members only. Hotel probaly appeals to an older client but the sheer size and facilities is worth the experience.
Excellent service.
Good room standard.
Beautiful Japanese garden.
Skyline views/restaurant
Lack of spa/ sauna/ swimming complex
- Restaurant Tip : Our tip would be the garden restaurant with a window view of the Japanese garden.
Dinner has to be in the rooftop restaurant with revolving floor giving a 360 degree view of Tokyo.
These 2 restaurants must have some of the best views in the world and the food is not bad either.
Excellent!

It's worth a stay if you can catch a good room or package price. Otherwise, shop elsewhere for a better deal on a hotel.
- Nightlife Tip : Great nightlife and restaurants in Akasaka just a few blocks away near the train station.

Was happy with Agoda service -- was able to get the room for fairly decent (in Japan) rate when I was not able to find rooms through other channels during Cherry Blossom season.
