i was able to get great prices at this famous otani hotel. all of my japanese friends said this hotel was for foreign diplomats and choosing his hotel was the right choice. their garden was extremely beautiful and romantic. i had afternoon tea and the service staff was extremely nice.

this hotel seems aimed for weddings and is very nice. the internet was supposed to be extra but it was free for me. i loved the room except their lan cable only reached so far and the electrical outlets weren't very convenient... but these are only small issues. don't expect to find a reasonably priced restaurant here. there is a family mart "hidden" on the 2nd floor.

Nice hotel facilities, but we booked a room for a couple meaning a double bed and they gave us two single ones even thouigh we confirmed it at the desk. Most spoke english.I wouldnt stay there again as its a large overpriced hotel and you have to walk through heaps of shops just to get out of the hotel. Really close to Subway so it was easy to get everywhere.

I always stay at this hotel due to the convenience of travel to anywhere in Tokyo. the hotel has top class restaurants alot and really great taste, esp Kyubei Sushi. Staff there are also very friendly and kind, very proffessional too. Room is spacious and comfortable. and the best thing is that this hotel is real 5 star hotel, but comparing to other 5 stars in Tokyo, the rate is very reasonable. highly value-stay!

To stay in a hotel while travelling on business that is comfortable, clean and welcoming makes a big difference to your trip. The New Otani is just that. Breakfasts overlooking immaculate gardens with your paper and a coffee prepares you well for the day. Taxi's at the door, with assistance from the staff with the language barrier ensures you can get anywhere you need to. At night, the rotating restaurants has fantastic food and amazing view. I will not stay anywhere else in Tokyo.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Bars and restaurants are great, but perhaps the shops in the hotel are a little pricey.
