Convenient and with beautiful grounds
The traditional gardens alone are worth staying here for. On direct route for Airport Limousine bus and close to Metro

did not spend that much time in the hotel and did not use any of the f & b. however i was very happy with my stay there, the room was big by tokyo standards and well appointed. the staff seemed friendly and helpful.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The traditional Japanese gardens are a well known feature of the hotel and very beautiful

Great Hotel seemingly a Tokyo legend
Excellent service, nice room and fantastic ornamental garden, a piece of history right in the centre of the hotel.

The staff in the hotel provided excellent service and advice and their english was of a good standard which is above average for Tokyo. The room was a decent size with a good view. Extremely comfortable bed. The hotel is closely located to the rail network. For the quality and service of the hotel it was very good value.

Over done, under impressed and over (way over) priced. Try $45 for a bowl of noodles in the lowest priced restaurant in the hotel. Very poor location for anyone who is not familiar with the Tokyo subway system. Popular with Japanese who want toput on a big show. Also near to American embassy which has been a draw for some.
Even for the same money there are nicer and better located hotels.

Its supposedly an old famous and iconic landmark hotel, which has hosted dignitaries and the like. but the interiors and facilities can definately do with an upgrade. facilities, furnishing and rooms look oldish. Example Actually had a key and lock on the door (as opposed to a swipe or touch card thing ) cant remember the last hotel I visited with an actual key
Restaurant Tip:
try the Mumbai indian resturant nearby it very good. their is a full by lane of resturants near the station

excellent service, room size, many shops inside the hotel

the hotel is located a little bit outside the main roads. it is good because it's safe and it's not noisy but you need to walk a bit if you want to eat outside or go shopping. the rooms are quite big and nice and the staff are very helpful. there is no wifi in the room and you need to rent a device from the business center so this is a little inconvenient.

the stay was good, and the room very comfortable, but the hotel was a little stifling and clearly aimed at the upmarket visitor. we were traveling with a toddler and were often met with stares of disapproval by other hotel guests...although the staff were very kind and accommodating.

Very nice place although it is showing its age. The mood inside was a bit stilted however, and if you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere this place isn't for you.
