Ngan P. Groups Canada, May 06, 2013	Comfortable stay clean room, easily access to Shinjuku Station, quiet area. 6.7 Our overall stay was comfortable. However, there was only one issue we experienced. Japan is always well known for its customer service...but I guess my expectations were too high. We did not make it to the hotel the first night (which was additionally added to our overall stay and included a free breakfast). First, we already couldn't get our refund because we arrived a day late with reasons. Secondly, we just asked to see if we can get our breakfast since we missed it the day before, but the answer was still no...even something little couldn't be done?...tad disappointed.

Business travelers Australia, May 03, 2013	staff speak no english whatsoever nothing extraordinary 5 This is Shinjuku, the most happening suburb of Japan's most international city, and yet practically every single staff member speaks ZERO ENGLISH, nothing can be communicated at all, and they didn't even try. Not only that, but when guests ask something in English at the counter or over the phone, the staff practically GIVE UP and not even try. This completely ruined my experience at the hotel. Every other person I saw who attempted to ask staff members in English were also frustrated as well. I have never in my 20 years of international travel encountered anything like this.

Groups Singapore, April 30, 2013	A budget hotel value for money, breakfast and friendly staffs 7.3 Hotel was average but value for money and comes with breakfast. booked a 4pax room for 3 of us as agoda only have rooms for either 2pax or 4pax for this hotel. location wise is a little far from any train stations. minimum 15mins walk to shinjuku station but 10more mins to find the JR line/narita express. 1mins walk to the shopping district. not very easy to find this hotel but if your looking for budget hotel, this is the best you can find. it is located right beside shinjuku washington hotel.

Groups Singapore, April 26, 2013	Okay for a budget hotel but not recommended location, fast check-in and a decent sized room for a space constrained tokyo 5.3 Relatively complaint-free but a few gripes. Wish they could offer at least free bottled water, but these were charged via a system in the fridge where if you pulled the bottle out of its original spot, you'd be charged for it, whether you consume it or not. Also we weren't aware of the 11am check out time. In most hotels it's usually 12pm. They gave us ONE call at 1130am and we rushed down in 30 mins. To our unpleasant surprise, they gave us a bill for an hour's overuse of our room, despite our expnatin. We didnt argue and paid up and left. Left a bitter aftertaste.

Families with older children Australia, January 05, 2013	Very convenient Great location and family room was a good size 8.7 With a teenage family, I choose this hotel on price and it was one of a small number that had a family room with western bedding. It exceeded our expectations in size and quality and the location worked out better than expected for sight-seeing as it is based in the business district. Also, it was quiet at night with minimal road noise.
