Hotel Sunroute Higashi Shinjuku, Tokyo

Pricing: One of the cheapest I've sourced out over the net. Location: Couldn't be any better, right next to Higashi Station, near Macdonalds and Various food vendors. Rooms: Suitably small, as expected of any rooms in Tokyo, but well fitted and comfortable. Eco-friendly too. Best of all free internet. Service: All the counter-staff speaks and understand English, very helpful and informative as well, extremely indispensable for my holiday. Provided me with maps of the Subway system, provided bus schedules and helped me hail and convey the location to Taxis. Extremely satisfied!

Great services, convenient walk to local shops and restaurants, lots of square footage in the room. The room is clean, a lot of channel selections on the TV. Standard security system by use key card in elevator. We got a low price deal and stayed for 5 nights. Staff was helpful and babysitting available for our 2 year old. For the price, really a fantastic value. Hotel is very comfortable, can get a bit of city view from the room.

It is a new nice hotel.Toiletries were a nice touch.The rooms were small though. Trying to find a space for the luggage was difficult. but the newest of the room made it a very pleasant stay. There is also free internet access at the lobby. It is a walking distance to shinjuku though map provided by the hotel (from hotel's prospective was not too useful) totally out of proportion to the actual space so we got lost using the map. It was better off just walking around. If lost, just take a train back to the hotel as the hotel is super near the train station. Shinjuku area has lots of entrances to train stations to get back to the hotel. SO dont worry about wandering around.
