great location; near shopping, restaurants and nightlife - walking distance. all transportation nearby and very close to shinjuku station. bus transportation "to and from" airport (narita and haneda) and hotel.

Service and Location is great!
The staff is really helpful, the hotel is nice and new.

Will sure to stay in this hotel again if I visit japan, its close to all the subway station and the service is great!
Nightlife Tip:
There is not much night life in the area but there are a few 24/7 restaurant near by!

Great hotel in great location with sunning service. We never had a bad meal neither met bad people from the surrounding area.You can get all your needs from the surrounding area especially shopping.Rooms are very clean and most of all warm, functional heater. Rooms are also well insulated and we don't heard noise from the neigbouring rooms. Bathrooms a bit small, but this a typical of hotels in Japan.

the hotel room is small but well-equipped. counter staff and housekeepers are friendly! the hotel is located at shinjuku and relatively near to shinjuku station.
getting there:
from shinjuku station, exit from the south exit. turn right and walk downslope (towards the skyscraper district). when you've reach the traffic light junction @ first kitchen, cross the road on your left. walk straight ahead for about 2 to 3mins. look out for mcdonalds. sunroute plaza hotel is on the same side of mcdonalds. it is a yellow/brown/orangy building, you won't miss it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
lots of sightseeing and shopping at shinjuku and nearby areas. we visited the famous kabukicho red light district at shinjuku, the famous crossing at shibuya and the must-see trendy japanese fashion at harajuku.

The hotel is only a few minutes walking distance from the Shinjuku Station from where travel to anywhere is possible.
Nightlife Tip:
Plenty of nightlife within easy reach - Kabuki-cho, Harajuku, Shibuya. All kinds of shops and restaurants.

Overall is fine but very small room. Please do not bring huge luggages into the room. The window ia abit tricky to open so do not get frustrated about it. Do ask help from the staffs.

my second visit to tokyo and second stay at this hotel. we chose this place again for it's simplicity and great location.
rooms were hotel standard but just a bit too small. no wifi in the rooms as well however, it was immaculate in looks and staff were very helpful.

we were a large group whom all decided to stay here for it's convenience.
enjoyable stay and good train links for jr line and also a number of other metro lines. would definitely come back because it offers all the basics and is in prime location.
