Excellent hotel in an extremely good location
Good location. Within walking distance to shinjuku.

Beautiful place with a cosy homely clean feel. Staff are friendly and speaks good english. The only letdowns are the wireless internet services (see tip below) and the breakfast (imho wasn't that fantastic). Nevertheless this hitel is still great. Will definitely return!!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Bring your netbooks if u require internet access. Rooms are wired lan, so ipads cannot be used in rooms. Though there is also free internet access in their PC room at the 2nd level, we find the access speed too slow. There were also times our ipads could not connect to their wireless network: i.e frequent disconnections. Other than that i love and enjoy my stay so much that i sign up for hotel membership.

Lovely Hotel, Great Location

Location of hotel is good, about a 10-minute walk to the train station. 24-hour convenience store just across the hotel as well plus within walking distance of various restaurants. Basically a good, functional and no-frills stay for travelers looking for a clean, well-located stay with helpful staff.

great location and nice room

1. would be great if wi-fi can be extended to hotel rooms instead of just the lobby and business lounge
2. had some problems with the printer in the business lounge, commands were in japanese and staff seemed too busy to attend to the problem
3. good to have drink vending machine somewhere for late night arrivals when the hotel restaurant is closed

The location of the hotel is good. It is near to subway, JR station and airport transfers. And there are a few big shopping malls around, pretty much self sufficient and need not travel to another place.

Great location but small room

The location is great because the hotel is 1 block away from the Shinjuku Station. There's a Citibank ATM machine to the left of the hotel (ATM machines that take US bank cards are hard to find). There's a Family Mart convenience store directly across the street. Lots of shopping is nearby.
The staff is friendly and check-in was efficient.
The room is small! My son and I each had a medium-size suitcase and backpack and thank goodness we barely fit. If you are traveling with oversized bags you may want to contact them to ask if they have larger rooms.
Because we were spending only 4 nights there, it was "good enough", not great.

Had an enjoyable stay here. The location is second to none in Shinjuku. The rooms are small like all the other reviews I have read, but lets be honest you don't stay in Shinjuku to stay in your hotel room.
The hotels restaurant also has tasty italian food that is great for a snack and the happy hour is great value.
I think it's great value but is a very small room so be prepared for this.

Nice hotel at great location

Had a nice and comfortable stay at the Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku hotel. Was offered an upgrade for 1000 yen a night. I could then stay in a more luxurious room, didn't take the upgrade as I am traveling alone, but it's a nice gesture. There is free fast Internet access in the room. Keep in mind though that it's "cable connection", so no Wifi. Wifi access is provided in a separate room called "Guest Lounge", only accessible with your room key.
The hotel is located near the south exit of Shinjuku station (a 5 minute walk), so plenty of connections available. Keep in mind Shinjuku station is the busiest station in the world, so during rush hour it gets quite busy.
I arrived from the airport by "Friendly Airport limousine", the standard bus transfer service. I took the Airport Limousine to Shinjuku station, from the bus stop the hotel is visible. Later it turned out that the Airport Limousine also has a stop right in front of the hotel. At the hotel they are able to arrange tickets for this bus. So when coming from the airport either bus is going to deliver you right next to the hotel.
One thing to keep in mind about checking in. Check-in time is 2pm. They will keep your luggage for you when you're arriving early though. But something to keep in mind, because you can't make an early check-in.
Enjoyed my stay at Sunroute plaza Shinjuku.

Great location but small rooms

Iljeongsang was stayed for one day. It is located in Shinjuku, I just like a typical Japanese hotel room is small, I thought, more than anywhere else before that stayed small. The room is clean, a disposable razor and a toothbrush, picking the quality was good, nothing was missing. Teo, too fast, Eli Beni, near McDonald's also a big convenience store, picking at no cost to stay a while was a good.
Haneda Airport Limousine Bus is connected to the memories That leaves the best.

Economy Twin Room is a bit small

For Economy Twin Room, its a bit small. No place to put your lagguage. If you can afford, better to choose the Standard Twin Room.
There are vending machines location every floor, so if you wan to get some drink yet lazy to go out, its a good choice to use the machine.
At the level 2, there 4 PCs and a printer in the Business Centre. Free of charge to use the PC. At night, when the shopping mall closed, you can choose go to use the PC and spend your time.
