I had a very comfortable stay at the Sunroute plaza. Rooms are clean and have free internet. Breakfast is good and the downstairs café is a good place to have informal business meetings. External fitness facility run by the Tipness company is two blocks away.

great Hotel - great location
location to Shinjuku Station

had a great stay in a really nie hotel. near the station and good shopping nearby. a short walk to shinjuku gardens to see the charry blossom - a hightlight of our stay.

Great location and excellent service at Shinjuku
Near proximity to Shinjuku station (less than 5 minutes walk away from JR station), great staff caring and service, affordable rates and excellent use of Sunrise I Points card for loyalty

hotel was excellently located within a stone's throw of shinjuku jr station. staff were helpful in providing to our needs (requests, directions, etc) and were able to converse in english. room is small but adequate with all necessary facilities. a clean and new hotel that generally caters to the business crowd but also great for travelers. sign up for free for their sunrise i points loyalty card for late checkout, redemption of loyalty points and sister tour facilities.
Restaurant Tip:
do ask for sushi bars around and theres a conveniently placed mcds just a block away that operates 24 hours a day. traveling is great based on its location

Excellent hotel, very helpful service.
Great location - five minute walk from Shinjuku Station, Very clean rooms, Highly attentive staff that go out of their way to help you. Most staff speak fluent English

this hotel was great. the room was small but perfectly adequate for a couple on holiday. one can only expect so much space for a room in central tokyo. the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. there is also free high speed internet.
the thing that really made our stay though was the staff. they were very friendly, and went out of their way to help us with all of our queries. i will definitely stay here again.

all of their staff was very friendly, especialy during the earthquake the hotel trying to giving all the instruction information to their guest. very convenience to every distance. we will come to this hotel on our next trip to japan.

Great location but small rooms

it was a nice hotel with nice room however, rooms were quite small...
we arrived on the same day of the mar 11 earthquake... we took an earlier flight back hence we forfeited the remaining nights we have booked and paid in advance... given the emergency that everyone was having, i just wished the hotel was more accomodating in terms of refunds... when we told them that we will be leaving earlier than schedules, they immediately told us they will not refund.

Very nice hotel, excellent location, nice bathroom

We loved the hotel. The location was near shopping, food, subway, trains, the awesome skyscrapers. We were there during the earthquake week and the hotel did a great job of keeping us informed and updated on all the events and changes with trains and such.

Lovely hotel which i will love to go again!
very near to train station/restaurants/shopping centres

its not that the eco twin is bad, its rather small but still clean, but since there's availablity of standard twin at a small price, we chose the latter.
would say most of them are friendly & helpful english speaking staffs, even the housekeepers never fail to greet us with smile. please keep it this way & don't increase price!
the hotel is also very very near to most train lines and major shopping centres!
and would also recommend this hotel for their fast speed internet services at the business centers!
overall, will hope to go there again soon when the nuclear problem is resolved!

Great stay comfortable hotel
Great location close to everything in Shinjuku

Despite the earthquake our stay at the Hotel Sunroute was great, unfortunately the quake had to cut our holiday short. Room and beds were comfortable, the room was small but suited our needs. Everything was clean and thank goodness we learnt how to tune the TV to CNN to listen to English language news so we could keep up to date with the latest developments. The front desk staff are very helpful and knowledgable and had a very good grasp on English.
