The stay was excellent.Only disappointing thing is that we booked a non-smoking room but they gave us a smoking room. They advised we should email directly in future to hotel to ensure non-smoking room .

Excellent location
Location, drop off point for airport transfer, clean
9.3
Good location - 5mins walk to Shinjuku station. Plenty of food and shopping in the area. There is also a combi just opp the hotel. The standard room is relatively small for the price, however normal for Japan standards. Room facilities are v comprehensive, including quality shampoo and conditioner. Only setback is that free wifi is only available in the lobby.

Best value hotel in Shinjuku
8.7
If you're a first time traveler to Tokyo, it will be best to stay in a hotel that's near train stations. Shinjuku is the biggest hub of transport. Buses, Airport N'EX Train and several train lines serve this area. Hotel Sunroute is just about 7min walk from Shinjuku train station which was awesome. It is also a short walk to shopping district in Shinjuku.
We definitely loved our stay in this hotel. although economy rooms are really small. not much space to move around. But what the heck, you're in Tokyo so you're out in the city most of the time anyway.

Pleasant stay !
Location. Clean. Affordable.
8.3
So great! The room is quite small but it's quite comfy for solo traveller like me. What I like the most is the hotel just located across Shinjuku station. Very strategic. And U can just walk to many local restaurants nearby and shopping centre. The room is very clean with many little perks for woman since I get the ladies room.

For location, this hotel is perfect for us
location, location, location
6.7
This is the hotel to stay if location in Tokyo is your top priority. We were here for five nights last month and chose the place based on previous reviews about its location.
It takes less than ten minutes to walk to Shinjuku station. Since the trains were our main mode of transport in Tokyo, this was a huge, huge plus point for the hotel.
Just behind the hotel, there is an subway underpass that leads to the train line to go to Tsukiji market and other places.
Best of all, for us, was that the hotel is very near to Takashimaya Times Square. There is a bridge behind the hotel that leads you to Takashimaya.
Room-wise, remember this is Tokyo so don't expect a spacious room. The room is compact and if you have two huge luggages , it could be cramp. But we expected this so it was not a shock or hassle for us.

walking distance to Shinjuku station.
Near to Shinjuku station and shopping area, friendly staff and English speaking staffs.
7.3
Easily located the hotel from the Yoyagi station from airport. Enjoyed the easy access with walking distance to major train stations especially Shinjuku stantion and shopping areas. Baggage delivery to next stay hotel is available and easy with the help of English speaking staff. A lot of nearby traditional ramen restaurant and coffee shops selling delicious sandwiches and aromatic coffee.

Nice hotel in great location!
Great location, English speaking staff, nice, recently renovated lobby and guest areas

Really nice busy hotel, bit hard to find in the hustle and bustle of shinjuku. Take the south exit and look for McDonalds. The foyer and downstairs area are beautiful and have free wifi. Room is small but it's all you need - it is Tokyo! Tv only has one English speaking channel which is a bit annoying but you don't spend much time in your room anyway. Would reccomend to any travellers to Tokyo!
