Great location, very clean room, helpful staff
Location, good room reasonable size for Tokyo, comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom

Location is very good only about 400 meters from the train station (there is a station entrance just next to the hotel but seems to be for other lines)The room had a good outlook with efficient air con. Our notebook worked fine with the free internet. Fridge in room was good for our drinks. The bed was comfortable and the covers and pillows appropriate for a good sleep. Typical japanese bathroom - very functional but not glamorous - good hot water supply etc. The hotel room was very clean and we would make this our base again for our stay in Tokyo.
Travel tip:
Shinjuku has good restaurants, good for cameras & watches and the hotel is close to major department stores. Try the Irish Pub somewhere between the hotel and Isetan! The fish market is well worth a visit as are the Imperial Gardens. Xmas have a look at the lights in Meiji Jinku. Odaiba is not well advertised but is also well worth visiting.

Great Hotel with Great Spa
Great location, friendly hotel staff with comprehensive English, the room is great and really clean, the bathroom is considered big compared with the size of the room.

Located near Shinjuku shopping area(within walking distance). But far enough to avoid the city-noisy-surrounding for a goodnight sleep. The staffs are friendly and can speak English fairly well. The spa is great with reasonable price(went there for a full body massage,it was supposed to be 1hour session but she ended up giving me almost 2hours session with no extra charge). Overall the hotel is great, interior are clean and neat and nicely decorated. I love it! ;)
Shopping Tip:
Besides the obvious shopping mall around Shinjuku, don't forget to go to Shinjuku Don Quijote(Quixote) in the Kabukicho area. Its a great place to buy almost anything as souvenirs.

Convenient and easy access from this hotel
A lot of shopping districts around this hotels
9.3
I chose to book this hotel through Agoda after having compared the prices of different agencies. My family and I stayed in this hotel from 15 Dec to 22 Dec 2010 on a free and easy 11-day holiday trip. This hotel is convenient to travel to all parts of Tokyo as the Shinjuku Station is just a stone's throw away. The hotel is very new with very clean room amd good service and a lot of eateries and restaurants that you will not go hunger. All the shopping districts are surrounding it, eg, Takashimaya, Odakyu, Kabukucho, electronic shops. It is just 2-stops to Harajuku for teenagers. What I like this hotel is that we access to the following places of interests for one-day trip with ease: (1) Tokyo Disneyland - take express bus near Takashimaya and we take train back as the bus cease services at 8pm as we left Disneyland at 10pm enjoyed to the fullest. (2) Take Romance Car to Hakone to see the sulphur valley and spewing sulphur and take cable car to view Mount Fuji and pirate ship around Lake Ashi. (3) Free shuttle bus to Snow Ski Resort at Ikenotaira Hotel to enjoy the snowy environment on 23 Dec 2010. We ski there and played the sledge at the snowy area outside this hotel and soaked in outdoor onsen pool. In a nutshell, this is the hotel that I strongly recommended to those first time to Tokyo. You will never get lost as Japensese there are very very helpful and they will go to the extra mile to bring you to the correct platform entrance to take the train if you are lost at the train stations. Kudos to the Japanese who helped us there. A very big thank you. From Lim Sun Kiat (Singapore)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Access to many train stations at Shinjuku, eg Tsujiki wholesales market, Tokyo Tower, Shibuya, Obaida etc

Perfectly located with small but reasonable rooms
location, service, aesthetics

the location cannot be beat. it is so close to shinjuku station, which easily connects with almost all train lines in tokyo. the economy rooms can be very small, but 99% of japanese hotels are small. they are very strict about the number of people to each room, though. if you have a twin room, only 2 people can stay there. however, it was definitely worth the money.

Lovely hotel with great location

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Located just beside subway line and 3-min walking to JR line. Walking distance from Takashimaya shopping center. Very convenient. Because I stayed for more than a week, my room was upgraded to a bigger one. I will definitely come back to this hotel again.

comfortable hotel close to shinjuku station and several shopping centers and good value restaurants. on my second visit, discovered free internet connection in guest lounge, which would've been useful to know during earlier visit. helpful staff, confortable good size room and very convenient location for a busy trip. i would recommend this hotel as a good base in tokyo to both business and leisure traveller.
