Japan holiday
Excellent location close to Shinjuku station. Plenty of vending machines
7.3
Regardless of the short time frame of our trip, the room was rather small than expected. Convenience wise, it was adjacent to necessary train stations and facilities were at our very own convenience.
Room: Clean & Tidy
Service: 4/5

decent business hotel
location, nice decor, comfortable beds, good-sized room and bathroom

We liked the location, nice decor, comfortable beds, good-sized room and bathroom. The buffet breakfast is a good deal too. We didn't like the customer service compared to the other Japanese hotels we had stayed at. The front desk staff isn't very helpful or personal, but there are printed maps with restaurants and how to use public transport to get places.

Conveniently located hotel at reasonable price
Door to door limousine bus from Narita Airport
9.7
Too many Chinese tourists talking aloud in the lobby area. No bell service and all required self-service. However, Hotel staff speak conversational English and are very very helpful. Excellent service.
Shopping Tip:
The pharmacy around the street corner (opposite to Lumine) sells the cheapest in the SHinjuku area.

Great Location
Beside Toei Oedo line, exit A1 and JR Station just opposite the hotel, in front of Takashimaya. The limousine bus to Narita & Haneda airport will stop at this hotel, ticket can buy from the counter. The staff can speak English. I was still prefer to stay at Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku in the future.

Convenience location just nearby the subway & JR station. Staff was friendly and can speak English very well.

Location is great. Room is clean.

Location are great. Just few minutes walk to Shinjuku. Room is clean, though a bit small but this is understandable. The receptionist is very helpful. They have airport limo bus available too. Very convenient for airport transfer. Will stay in this hotel next time.

great location, close to everything!!!
it was so close to everything. station was like a 3min walk which u need cos u go by train everywhere.
8.7
if u want to base your self in shinjuku when u are Tokyo, this is the hotel u want to stay at. the location is great. so close to the station and thats what u really want. every where u go is by train. u can catch a taxi but it would cost u a lot of money. all the shop is just a short walk, and there are many, many places you can find something to eat at a really good price.
The hotel itself was really good as well. the staff there was all really friendly and helpful. their English was really good which was a really good part as there isn't that many people who could speak English that well. i found it was a quite safe area as i was travelling with a young baby.
the only bad point about the hotel was when booking the rooms there was no information about the different between double and economic double, until we got there and found out that double had a queen bed wit a bigger room to fit a cot and economic double was a double bed with no room at all. And we could change as all the room was booked out.
Apart from that i would stay there again for my next trip to japan .
Travel tip:
when u are at shinjuku station always go to the south exits of the station cos thats is where the hotel is. its a really big station and if u exit at any other exit, it would take u about 30min to 1 hour to get back to this hotel.

Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku
fabulously convenient location, easy walk to Shinjuku station and all areas for business and shopping
9.7
Breakfast buffet excellent and reasonable price. If one wants a cheap sandwiches, coffee and pastry cannot go past the Cafe Veloce just across the road and the convenience store. Room had two excellent beds, except for quilt being too heavy for the time of the year. We should have used our initiative to ask for a lighter blanket but this option was not made known to us.Top location for connections everywhere by metro and trains.

Excellent location!
Excellent location, friendly staff, clean and tidy
9.3
This hotel was in the best location for us - 5 minutes walk to the JR station, about 5 minutes to the subway station, lots of shopping and restaurants all around, the government building which has a great observation deck is about 20 minutes away. Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
