Near by Ikebukuro-station for trains & metro.
Good shopping area; good and cheap restaurants.
We were with 10 persons in a group. Our goal was to visit the highlights of Tokyo and good beds to be fit every day! As the tour leader and the guide I visited this hotel for the 6th time. I recommend this hotel again to my boss for next year.
Travel tip : Sunshine city with view from the 68th floor; when the weather is clear. Good and cheap restaurants nearby.

Big LCD Flatscreen TV, english speaking staff, bathroom amenities, free loan of umbrellas on wet days
Small room size but its the same everywhere in Japan hotels
The hotel is situated right in the middle of the busy sunshine dori-60 shopping street. Once you get familiar with the Ikebukuro station exits, its a mere 5 mins walk to the hotel. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. We had a room for 3 adults and were pleased to know the additional 3rd bed was comfortable to sleep in. There is also sufficient space for movement. Will choose to stay here again.
Restaurant Tip : There is a nearby restaurant called Ootoya that serves a variety of dishes at an affordable price. The food is tasty. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located 5 mins away from Ikebukuro train station and another 5 mins to Sunshine City - a major shopping mall. Ikebukuro Station has direct access from Narita Airport via the N'ex. Lugging big baggage is not an issue from the train station as there are elevators all the way. Fast food, restaurants and convenient stores are scattered just in the vicinity of the hotel.
The bathroom is considerably small and the tap is shared between the sink and the bath. Meaning if one bathes, the other is unable to brush his teeth at the sink.
This is a moderately-priced hotel as compared to the other hotels in Tokyo. We particularly like the location as ease of access was our priority for travelling with a 6 year old. Ikebukuro Station is on the direct line from Narita Airport via N'ex (Narita Express).
The nearby mall as well as the shops downstairs sells all the amenities you would need for your daily sightseeing around Tokyo. Though most shops close at 10pm in Japan, we could still drop our daily shopping off at the hotel and come down to have some entertainment at the arcades downstairs.
The hotel staffs spoke good English and were able to help us on our queries. They helped to print out maps from the common computer and gave clear instructions on how to get to the places of interest *thumbs up*! When our purchases exceeded our luggage, we bought a check-in box from the hotel and even borrowed a weighing scale up to our room to add up all our baggage weight.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Staff at reception are able to print out maps from websites and direct you to the place of interest.
