All of the 463 rooms at the International Garden Hotel are well-equipped and suitable for both tourists and business travelers. There is a choice of dining facilities including Wings Restaurant, a buffet style restaurant specializing in international fare. We selected the hotel for it's proximity to the airport, and a reviewer tip regarding the ease of visiting nearby Narita and the fact that it had a gym.
Rsstaurant had a very limited menu available upon our arrival at 9pm. No cocktail lounge. Evening staff courteous but not very welcoming. Deluxe superior room was average in amenities and cleanliness.
We selected this hotel based partially on previous reviews posted on the Agoda site. We were hoping to follow the suggestion by another reviewer to visit nearby Narita the next morning, citing the ease of getting to town and the fact that the hotel had a map of sights to see but the evening staff was not knowledgeable in helping us figure out the logistics, no map of the town was available as noted in the review tip. In lieu of that excursion we took advantage of the gym facilities in the morning. The gym facilities were substantial and very welcome prior to our next days flight to the US The free bus shuttle to and from the airport was very efficient. Our overall our impression was that the hotel catered more to Japanese business travelers and not tourists spending a short overnight to make a connection the next day.

Lovely staff, good breakfast, shuttle bus easy to find
Our flight arrived too late to catch the train to Tokyo that evening, and after travelling for 14 hours, we thought we'd grab a hotel in Narita for the night and tackle the trip to Tokyo the next day. This hotel proved perfect for us - neat, clean rooms, comfortably roomy, a free shuttle to and from the airport and funnily enough, we ran into a couple of our flight attendants who were also staying there. Seems to be a bit of a staple for flight crew - Jetstar had their own lounge area even. If you're after a place to crash before an early flight or after a long one, this is perfect. And very, very reasonably priced. Thumbs up!

If you need to stay close to Narita Airport. Gargen Hotel Narita is a good choice due to it's convenient and the price is not too expensive when you compare with other hotels in the same area. The hotel is not so big but clean and comfortable. Shuttle bus services are available between hotel to narita airport, to shopping mall and to narita station.
