Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

will not go there again
close proximity to station and shopping locations

the service we received at reception was very poor both times we checked in, each time took more than 30 minutes to complete the check-in process which is considered way too long and inefficient

Very nice hotel with fair price
The room is quite large in Tokyo while it's located at a point which is not far away from JR/metro station. The service is excellent and staff are very helpful.

Japanese Class and Style
Courtesy, quality, and a superb location

This hotel is very refined and luxurious. From check-in to check-out my stay was excellent. Marvelous food, out of this world drinks and cocktails, and wonderful location with close proximity to Shinjuku Station. I opted to take a hotel sponsored tour and I was delighted at the result. I recommend trying all the bars and restaurants in this hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take the Tokyo Skytree and Asakusa tour

Great locations
Love the Nescafe coffee maker in the room, good hotel for business trip

The room is acceptable for couple and business trip. My room can also viewed the night scenery of Tokyo which is very beautiful. Although it is located in a quiet zone but it is also very near to JR subway, Toei subway and Metro. Moreover Shinjuku shopping district is only a few hundred meters away and you can also find a lot of nice food over the district. The only cons is the price of the hotel room... but you get the comfort. So it is worthwhile and I will stay here away when I re-visit.

Big, brash and weird although staff polite
Clean, comfortable room - good size
5.3
This is a big hotel, well situated but in my opinion more suited suited to tours and groups and the less sophisticated traveller. The restaurants were varied but having been in two of the hotel's restaurants and had breafast, I feel that the food on offer did not meet the cost involved. The food was luke warm and the waiter was unable to mix a simple drink. On the plus side, they offered a direct service by luxury coach to both airports and this was conducted with the usual Japenese efficiency. Similarly, other tours were available and they seemed popular. However, for the independent traveller this hotel leaves a lot to be desired and certainly not worth the money. The Granvier anywhere in Japan would make a much better choice. The hotel is in need of complete refurbishment - it's stuck in the 60s!
Travel tip:
Coach to both airports - direct to your terminal/check-in and not just Terminal 1 or 2.

Conveniently located in Shinjuku
Great location, comfortable beds.

keio plaza is about 10 mins walk from jr station and 2 mins walk from subway station. just 5 mins walk from hotel is a cluster of restaurants that come alive after dark, ranging from cheap sushi and ramen to more high end stuff. early breakfast in the same cluster is also available, such as starbucks and other japanese noodle and rice joints. the hotel is also a common place for local tour to pick up so it's handy if you want to do some local tours. gym is free but not the swimming pool.
