I was deeply unsatisfied with the service at the Hotel. Having booked and prepaid for two twin rooms I received two double rooms. Travelling with a party of single women this was not acceptable. The Hotel refused to honour the booking and would only provide the twin rooms at an additional cost of 100euro per room for the three nights booked. I found their efforts to accommodate this simple request unhelpful and unyieldy. In addition we had a suspicious encounter with one member of staff when an IPOD went missing from our left luggage (arrived too early for our rooms). When we mentioned this missing item at reception it suddenly appeared as Lost / Found when we had been the only people in the lobby for the entire 90 min wait during which time the staff member was observed moving the bags and pocketing an item - not immediately identified as belonging to our group. I found this very unsavoury and in addition to the room mixup, very disheartening. Our experience in Tokyo and Japan up until this point had been all positive.
Extremely central to Shibuya district. Right in the Shibuya Train Station - just take the New South Exit. Very convenient for taking the Narita Airport Express train.
Staff were unfriendly. Internet access was provided on coin operated system (100yen only) very time and money consuming. Hotel was geared more for men, that is I would not recommend for women or families. Extremely dodgy Pay TV facility and 3am massage service available. No contained dining room, referred to Chinese restaurant and coffee shop in Train station for prepaid breakfasts.
- Shopping Tip : Shibuya district, shopping extravaganza!
