The Monterey Ginza Hotel is a Japanese style hotel well located in Tokyo Ginza. Rooms are small but well arranged. Restaurant and Service are good and breakfast very nice. The hotel employees are very polite and experienced. A place for business meeting and a bar should be arranged. I choose this hotel as a good ratio of price over service.
Well located in Tokyo, Japanese environment and customers.
Bar or meeting area should be provided.

Fine for business, small rooms. Would stay again because of convenience to Tokyo station.
Very handy to Tokyo station and Ginza shops.
Small rooms, crap breakfast.

The overall feeling that the Monterey Ginza Hotel gave was similar to boutique hotels in Europe. The hotel finishings were lovely, starkly different from the rest of the Tokyo Hotels. Though the rooms were small est 20sqm by international standards, they were relatively spacious and comfortable compared to the Japanese standards. It's ideal for couples to stay in but rather pricey as a business hotel. There are nice cafes like Doutor, Veloce round the corners, so you can opt for room only.
Location: Near to Ginza and the key subway lines.
It's not that near JR station but if you don't mind walking thru 6 - 8 streets with window shopping, it's ok.
Room: I love the room, it's very quaint, new & pretty.
Chambermaid is not very thorough in cleaning.
- Shopping Tip : The Summer sale is usually in the 1st/2nd of July in Tokyo and discounts are 50% off the usual price!

Overall it is a good, resonably priced, handy location to transportation & almost everything else. I will be happy to stay at this hotel again!

The hotel is well located, next to the Ginza metro station and within walking distance of the main Tokyo train station. Very close to the Ginza shopping area as well as the Imperial Palace Grounds.

There was only a French restaurant on the premises. Could do with more choice. Do not print/publish my name in review.

Rooms are small but comfortable. Front desk very helpful. When I could not access the internet from the room, they came up to help and when they couldn't get it to work, they switched my room.
